They absolutely best Mexican restaurant in our area. Better than Rosie’s, better than Casablanca, and in my opinion even better than Phil Sandoval’s. Totally worth the drive to Arab from Huntsville and back! The food is always impeccable but the service is truly top tier and the atmosphere is so lovely. The restaurant is incredibly clean, organized, and beautiful! Truly an establishment to be proud of and I say that about very few places. I’ve worked everything from fast food to fine dining, front of house to back of house, and management as well. Can’t say enough good things about Sophia’s!

Always 5 stars. We come here every week. Last week and today we tried their 14 oz ribeye. By far the best steak in this area. Ordered medium rare and it was cooked to perfection both times. It has very good flavor and very tender. The sides were good. My husband had corn on the cob and baked potato and he said both were really good. I had rice and steamed vegetables. Both were huge portions. I have enough leftovers for two more meals.

Had been hearing this place was the greatest, so we decided to try it out. To us, it was the same ol’ as every other Mex restaurant. Salsa was good, but had too many huge chunks of tomato. Our waitress was great! She kept our waters and chips full.

Mmm boy!!! I ordered the chicken chimichanga to go, and it took them less than 10 mins.
Bonus I thought it was one, but there was two big chimichangas and lots pf veggies and guac and beans. There was also a nice sized bag of chips and salsa!!

Amazing! The food was very fast and delicious. I got the chicken and rice and it tastes good. Very kid friendly plus affordable. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Was randomly in the area browsing food options and this one stood out. Went it and was pleased to find it is another location like Julia’s in Guntersville which is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Although I do believe Sofia’s is slightly better.
If you have never tried Julia’s or Sofia’s I highly recommend it. Great food, quick service, fair pricing, and friendly staff make for a great lunch or dinner spot.

Absolutely hands down,thee best ever hamburger steak I’ve ever had in 40yrs, Sophia’s is already amazing,but first time having their hamburger steak,and it’s definitely something you’ll never forget, perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly how you want it done,so tender and moist,AND ITS HUGE!!!!,again everything else here at Sophia’s is awesome,but if you’ve never had the hamburger steak,you definitely need to get it,you won’t regret it at ALL!!!
