Our first Pho experience since leaving LA, the spring rolls were good but pork seemed slightly under flavored. Peanut sauce was also good. My wife and I both had round/ flank beef, the broth was seasoned well, and their sauce selection and toppings were great. Generally a good experience, slightly missing the mark when compared to our some of LA experiences but satisfied our Pho cravings. The vibe took is back a bit, no frills environment just good food and friendly staff.

Our first time here and we’re blown away by how delicious the pho broth was. You can taste the freshness. The meat, broth, noodle ratio is perfect. A good amount for the price. Friendly staff. We’ll be back many more times!

Chicken Pho just the broth has SO MUCH FLAVOR!! The vegetable broth was very good too but the chicken broth OMG to DIE FOR ❤️ The lady cooking in back who brought out our plates is one of the best Pho cooks I have ever been to. The portions were big, the prices were good. Awesome little atmosphere with friendly staff. Service was top notch and I will be back for the best pho in Virginia Beach, hands down.

This hidden gem in the Salem area has the best Banh Xeo (Vietnamese stuffed crepes) in town. The service and quality is consistent. The owners and their sons are friendly and always make sure we have what we need. Awards on the wall is proof that this place knows what they are doing.

Service this time is a 2. The place only had 1 customer when I got there. I got this weird look (not happy to see a customer) from the owner who was seated. He asked if dine in or take out. I said dine in and waiting for another. When my friend arrived he didn’t even say hello to her, just waited until we motioned we were ready to order. We were never asked if everything was okay; the owner just sat there playing games on his phone. The other customer needed something, called out to him but he wasn’t paying attention!
I ordered Bun Bo Hue (beef noodle soup) and my friend ordered Pho. The Bun Bo Hue was okay, a 3 rating. The only thing that was lacking is the meat, normally it comes with pigs knuckles. The broth had a slight after taste.

Run by husband and wife team (plus there brood sometimes), they serve chao (rice porridge with either chicken or seafood), dry sautéed noodkes with soup on side, and pho noodles and soup (no meat). This was an absolute treat!! If you are in the mood for PHO and in Virginia this is the place without a doubt! Worth the drive. We arrived and were greeted by (CHOP) who was the absolute man. Chop made everyone feel very welcome and was a wealth of information. The PHO was on another level, just the right portions and left me feeling energized. CHOP hooked it up with his strong, signature Vietnamese iced coffee. It left some main stream coffee shops in the dust. Over all it was a nice experience. The restaurant was clean, the the service was great and the food was amazing. 5 out of 5
