We’ve been coming here over the last 25+ years for the wonton and sui kau noodle soup. It’s still as flavorful and delicious as ever and comforting on a chilly day. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. The menu has expanded over time and we enjoy the different options. Most recently tried the braised beef honeycomb tripe and vegetables and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. My partner did didn’t grow up eating that kind of food enjoyed it too. Our sof-spoken server was very polite and attentive. Look forward to eating here again.

I can’t believe a few people think this is not authentic. I grew up in Hong Kong and this is the taste I know. It’s spot on. The wontons are not oversized and have a singular shrimp taste like what you get nowadays. The brisket was great and with the hot oil, it’s so nostalgic for me. I love the shrimp eggs in the soup that comes with the dry noodles. It’s so classic. I can’t even find this taste easily in HK now. I wish I can get this where I live! I think I would travel here just to get this again.

One of the more understated restaurants in Chinatown, but definitely the best place for noodle dishes or soups.
The new owner has remained faithful to congee, dumpling, and soup recipes that have withstood the test of decades.
The same dishes from other restaurants require lots of seasonings. That’s not the case at this place.
It’s not a fancy restaurant, but it’s very clean and the service and food quality are outstanding. My wife and kids regard Canton Wonton as their favorite Chinatown restaurant; as do I.

This place is great! Simple and easy, there’s a window you can see into the kitchen with big pots of broth on the burners. The wonton and & BBQ pork soup is delicious. The broth is light, a delicate flavor, and could cure just about any ailments. The BBQ pork gives it just a little sweetness, it’s soft but has a little bite to it. The wontons are delicious. The veg is nice and tender, full of delicious broth flavor. The beef tendon is also delicious. A great texture with a clean flavor. The chili oil is really good and goes well with the beef tendon soup. This place really reminds you that less is more. The perfect spot for a rainy day, a cold day, a cloudy day, a day you’re feeling sad; this soup will make you happy.

A family business with affordable prices. A young child brought the menu to my table. (A crib was in the back for the “waiter’s” naps as needed.) I had the noodles and pork with soup on the side for $12 plus tax and tip.

Alright, so this place is a bit of a dive. BUT, they do have the best chicken congee. I’ve been coming here since my college days in the early 2000’s and the food hasn’t change. The price has, but the food hasn’t. Still worth coming for chicken congee.

I came to this amazing gem a few weeks and I’m still thinking about it!

The noodles were perfect in texture & taste, the broth was savory & delicious, the wontons were scrumptious & delectable, the vegetables with oyster sauce were the perfect side with the soup. I was in heaven eating this delicious food on that cold afternoon day.

I will definitely take more trips to Seattle just to eat here again. They truly are one of the best restaurants I’ve ever had the privilege of eating in.
