I will travel back to Tucson just for Bobo’s!! EVERY SINGLE THING about that meal was fantastic! Out server was the sweetest gentleman, who recommended the chicken fried steak. Best I’ve had, hands down. So good I didn’t send it back after it came slathered in white gravy, because even THAT was good!! The potatos were perfect. Tender. Seasoned. Crispy edges. Scrambled eggs were tender. Not runny. Toast – PERFECT, TOO. Golden. Hot. Melted butter on it. French toast was super. Caramelized. The guys running that grill were master level operators. Its evident they’ve made thousands of delicious breakfasts, just out here feeding America every day. I’m here for it. It was superb!

How did I not know about this place. It’s pretty authentic when it comes to neighborhood cafe. The interior is actually perfect when you just sit back and enjoy the excellent food and authenticity of the place. I’ve grown tired of restaurants that charge you $70-80 for two and you get mediocre food at best. Bobo’s has a great menu full of comfort food you grew up with. Our meal was only $21 for two people. I will definitely return. I love this place!

Great place for a quiet breakfast. Wait staff & owner are friendly & accommodating. I like that you can sit at the counter & have a conversation with anyone from the owner to the cook! The food is great & reasonably priced. I really appreciate that there isn’t any blaring music, which makes an environment loud, like a lot of diners.

This is a great place to eat especially if you are wanting breakfast types of meals. I had the omelet with home fries and toast. They are good size portions and they taste like your eating at a 5 star resort . The price was very fair especially for the quality and amount of food you get. The service is very good with home type of atmosphere. I was in town for some training right down the street from bobo’s and ate there every day which was 3 day’s. I am going back January 7th for the day and I will definitely stop by bobo’s for some great food.

This is a restaurant I’d say most people would drive past without even thinking to go in. Oh, how wrong you are. This place has that small town diner vibe, friendly staff, and most importantly, amazing food. There’s tables or a counter to sit at. All the food is prepared in an open kitchen right in front of you. I went with an apple pancake and the biscuits and gravy. Both were top notch. The pancakes are huge! You’ll probably not need more than one of them and you’ll be full. The staff are friendly and attentive. I’m making this one of my restaurants to come back to Everytime I’m in Tucson.

Looking for a breakfast in a “real diner setting”? This is the place.
We were in Tucson for our son’s graduation and he wanted to show us his favorite dining locations. This is one of his top picks. My husband and I agree. There is a wide selection of inexpensive but delicious food options. The staff members are quick and efficient, and very friendly and helpful. They are busy but they don’t make the customer feel rushed.
There is normally a wait to get in, but it’s well worth it. We were second in line on the Monday when we visited, around noon, and we waited about 15 minutes.
We each ordered something different. I had Bobo’s Veggie Omelette with fried potatoes, and wheat toast. My husband and son each had two eggs with sausage links. My husband added fried potatoes and toast. My son added biscuits and gravy. It was A LOT OF FOOD!!!
But, we could not leave Bobo’s without one of their HUGE pancakes, so we purchased one to share. We got banana with pecans! YUM!!! The pancake is light and fluffy with the bananas adding a nice fruity flavor, well accented by the pecans. It is fried in what I’m assuming is butter and sugar because it comes with a nice crisp “coating” on one side. A perfect ending to a delicious breakfast.
My husband and son’s coffee mugs never ran dry as one young man returned several times throughout the meal to refill with more hot coffee.
I highly recommend a stop at Bobo’s, especially on a not-so-busy day and time.

Great little diner. Emphasis on little. I wouldn’t bring more than a party of 4. But great little spot. Depending on the time of day, their may be a moderate wait.
Food was excellent, service was great, staff was friendly and always available. If you like HOT coffee, this is the place to go. Steaming hot still after many ice cubes.
