Unfortunately, the experience was not good. No one greeted us when we walked in. I asked if they had a menu so we could sit down and place an order, but the cashier was calmly talking with another customer. I ended up waiting almost 20 minutes just to place my order. I also noticed other customers waiting for their food and two tables that had not been cleaned.
The customer service was very poor. To begin with, they don’t offer iced coffee, which I find to be a basic option. The crepe arrived fairly quickly, but we were never offered water. The strawberries in the crepe were not fresh, which was very disappointing.
There were three of us, and we ordered 3 crepes and 2 milkshakes, with a total bill of $83, and honestly, it’s not worth it. The quality of the food does not justify the price. We were also with a baby who barely tried the food, and when we finished, no one offered us a to-go container for what was left.
I definitely would not return. The place is nice and peaceful, but the customer service is lacking, and for the prices they charge, the experience and food quality do not meet expectations.
I really appreciate the owners response. I also should have brought my concerns up to owner as I’m sure it would have been rectified. Thank you for your response.
I stopped into Crêpe Topia on Sunday around 11 a.m. The place is really cute inside definitely has a cozy, aesthetic vibe, perfect for grabbing a coffee and reading a book. It also wasn’t very busy when I walked in, so I expected quick service.
Unfortunately, the service was subpar. After looking around, I realized no one had food everyone was just waiting. My single crêpe took 47 minutes, and most people around me had been waiting 45 minutes or more.
I originally wanted to try the viral fruit dessert, but the portions were tiny for the $14 price tag. I ended up getting the lemon drop mini cake instead, and it was half frozen easily a 3/10.
The crêpe itself was good, but definitely not worth the wait or the price. Cute atmosphere, but I wouldn’t go back for anything other than maybe a coffee and a quiet place to sit.
The chocolate Speculoos cake ($9) was a thrilling experience, not! Frozen and defrosted one too many times, if I had to guess.
The Mini Bites ($13), on the other hand, were a pleasant surprise, made fresh and all, but, man, they were sweet! Maybe balance out the sugar next time?
The ambiance, though, was top-notch – loved the lake view! Cleanliness-wise, you’re killing it! Guess I’ll stick to their coffee next time. 3 stars, because, well, it could’ve been a whole lot worse :))
