Low-key alehouse for Irish food & drink amid a traditional dark-wood setting with a stone fireplace.

Was in town for a work trip; to my delight I found a proper Irish pub. The service was great. The food was delicious and well prepared. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. The wings were great. The Irish coffee was a perfect little finish to the meal.

We went here because the name sounded like the perfect fit for us — and it totally was! The food was fantastic. I tried the Scotch eggs, which were excellent and paired perfectly with the tangy ground mustard. The small order of fish and chips was spot on — crispy on the outside, tender and moist inside.
Our server was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Great food, great vibe, and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Travel to a traditional Irish pub without leaving the city! A popular spot for a reason… Rustic charm, beautiful bar, friendly servers, convivial vibe and consistently good food! The fish and chips are legit! Perfectly puffed, crispy exterior with a delicious, light and flaky interior that is not “fishy.” Every review photo and plate out of the kitchen looks excellent. The Blarney & blue burger was good and the Scotch eggs are a delight. The Guinness beef stew was tasty yet on the salty side during our visit. The Jester’s pot pie looks scrumptious for another visit while the entire menu beckons… enjoy!

1st time guests at Two Fools Tavern (3211 Central Ave. NE, Albuquerque NM). Recommended by friends. Party of 2 ppl.
Greeted warmly upon entrance & seated right away! Very pleasant and relaxing interior decor. Quickly reminded me of my visit to Dublin (Ireland) some 20 years ago!
Ordered the much-talked-about Cottage Pie and, also, the Two Fools Fish & Chips. Our Server, “Hailey”, recommended them BOTH and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT!
Very enjoyable visit. Used curbside metered (City) parking near the entrance to Two Fools Tavern. Our visit took less than one (1) hour.
Plan to make a return visit..next time, with friends.
Five Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I wanted to love the Irish stew, I really did. When I walked into the restaurant, it was busy, but they had room for me at the bar (which is where I like to eat). The place had a casual vibe, which is also what I’m looking for. I was torn between the shepherd’s pie and the Irish stew for dinner. I ended up with the Irish stew. It was fine, but it tasted like it had been simmering for a few hours too long. Otherwise, it was good. They had Magner’s there and that really helped overcome the stew. All in all, because of the service and vibe, I’d be willing to go back and give them another go, but I wouldn’t order the Irish stew.

Always a good vibe here at Two Fools Tavern. Love how dimly lit the bar is and reminds me of the pubs back in Europe.
I ordered the Tuesday special which is the Baja Fish Tacos. They were pretty good! Different from other fish tacos I’ve tried. I like how they were like fish nuggets. 10/10 would order them again.
I’d also recommend others to come by and check out Two Fools Tavern.

We came here because we heard it had the best fish and chips in Albuquerque. It was good. The best? No. The fish was good, not great. The chips, (fries), were cold. The coleslaw however was the absolute best I’ve ever had! It’s a traditional Irish pub, so crowded and noisy but fun! Service was very good considering how busy it was.

We had dinner here and totally enjoyed it. Great service and atmosphere, and so was the food.
Big portions, we couldn’t finish and took some home.

This was a random dinner while on a cross country drive. Honestly just looked for something that was open past 8:30 which was somewhat challenging on a Monday. I initially wanted to try more local fare being in NM, however this place did not disappoint! It tasted like local fare..but not from the states!
The Scotch eggs were so good! Crunch and savory with a heaping amount of mustard seed. Cooked to perfection!
The bangers and mash were hearty and delicious! We also tried some of the Guinness Stew which was also really good and let me tell you on a cold night, it’ll stick to your bones and you won’t be cold anymore.
The staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was very cozy, they even had the fireplace going!
It was a random stop, but so happy we made it!

We went to lunch today and we finally tried two Fool’s Tavern. Boy, where we happy and pleased. The service was amazing. They are so friendly there. We love the atmosphere. They literally have the best fish and chips I’ve ever tasted. I’ve never tasted coleslaw like theirs. It is the best coleslaw I’ve ever tasted. My daughter had the pot pie. It was delicious along with the pastry that tops it. My son got the Irish stew. It was very rich. It wasn’t the best food item on the menu. I love bathrooms at restaurants. I always have to go see the bathroom. Their bathroom is so cute and adorable and very clean.
