We like to have lunch here when was pass through from Washington to Salem, Oregon. The folks were always friendly, the food has been good. It did seem that we waited way longer than our previous visits for our order.
The square bread, biscuit…. it crumbles like cornbread, but also feels like cake. Im confused. No taste. I had to add the butter to it to get any flavor. Took our leftovers with us but left that piece of bread.

Loving the new remodel! This place has been a family favorite since it opened. Four generations have enjoyed eating here. We love the servers and so glad we still get the animal sounds when we walk in.

12/16/25 Good service. Their version of the benedict was a bit rivh for me. Yes, the coin operated riding horse works.

It is absolutely the best food and atmosphere. When you come in the bell on the door is a rotating sound effect of farm animals! Rooster crow, cow moo, etc. Antique tractor on the dining room and I always stop in the gift shop and buy some of the unique gifts.

Two visits now, and everything has been great both times. Steak & eggs, cinnamon roll french toast, hash browns, the biggest strawberry shortcake of my life… everyone is friendly. I love this place.

We loved this place. When we travel, we are searching for a unique one of a kind place to eat. This place was spectacular. From the famous giant cinnamon rolls to the decor, it is definitely one of a kind. If you are anywhere near the north west, plan to stop here. PS, the food is really really good here.

Nice place. The staff is friendly and professional. We arrived at 6:00 a.m. and they decided to turn the country music on, just slightly too high.
The waitress did accommodate my request that was not on the breakfast menu. Fruits. That was nice.
My wife ordered the pancake short stack. And she only could eat a 1/4 of it.
Be ready, the portions are huge! Much like it was in the 90’s. The whole place feels like the 90’s.
It’s clean.
Overall, a nice place. Glad we stopped at the hotel there.

This country diner is has nice setup. Their country fried steak is perfect—crispy and golden on the outside, with tender, juicy inside. They used good quality hamburger meat. Paired with eggs cooked just the way you like and golden, crispy hash browns, it’s a hearty, satisfying meal. The prices are very reasonable, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere gives off classic all-American farming town vibe.
