Das Bierhauz is a hidden gem for beer enthusiasts! I’ll definitely be back when I need a good brew and a relaxed atmosphere.

️ The Food: 4/5
They offer a great selection of snack foods and pastries , perfect for pairing with their extensive beer list. We especially enjoyed the pretzel with cheese and mustard. The pretzel itself was perfectly baked – warm, soft on the inside, and slightly crisp on the outside. The cheese dip was creamy and flavorful. I only wish they provided a bit more mustard, as it was delicious!

‍ The Service: 4/5
The staff was friendly and attentive. They were knowledgeable about the beer selection and happy to offer recommendations. A pleasant experience all around.

The Ambiance: 4/5
The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, with ample seating both inside and outside. It’s a great place to unwind with friends or enjoy a casual drink. You can easily find a table.

The Value: 5/5
The happy hour prices are incredible! The beer flights were a fantastic way to sample different beers, and they were an excellent value.

The Beer: 5/5
The beer selection is extensive and impressive. The flights were well curated and provided a great sampling of their offerings. They did not dissapoint.

The Verdict:
Das Bierhauz is a must-visit for beer lovers. With a great selection of food, friendly staff, a relaxed atmosphere, and amazing happy hour prices, it’s a solid choice for a casual outing. I highly recommend it!

Came here because I saw Turkish breakfast on the menu, but regretted it. The cucumbers and tomatoes tasted old and looked like they were pre-cut from earlier! Same with the cheese and olives. They even served a hard-boiled egg on the tray. My partner ordered the sausage and didn’t really like it either. This place seems better for its beer only, but for food I prefer the other German spot down the street.

Ok food, very cramped seating, and a bit expensive. Beer is pretty good here though!

Got the combo appetizer, cheese platter and wurst platter. Food was decent, but definitely not worth the price or portion size. In particular you only get 3 sausages for $23, which is kind of insane even if they’re special German sausages.

Decent selection of beer, Ludwig’s had a bit more variety. Nevertheless, the beer was still great.

All in all though, I enjoyed my time here. It was fun sharing the platters with friends!

Not the place to go for German style beer house. Ordered the pretzel and was not freshly made, was obviously frozen – maybe from Costco? Cheese was the exact same that you would get with nachos from a highschool football game. Just not worth the money. If you just want a beer, it’s fine

Great beer selection but you don’t get service. You need to run your own beer. Also, there’s literally only 1 washroom which is ridiculous for a beer hauz

It is a place that I am very pleased and enjoy every time I go. The food is very delicious, the beer is very good. The owners are very friendly and attentive. I think they are also very clean in terms of hygiene. I am excited every time I go and I will continue to go.

Stopped by midday for a simple drink and had a really disappointing experience. There were only two customers in the entire place, yet it took a surprisingly long time just to get a bottled beer (not even on tap). When it finally came, the waitress had an unprofessional, dismissive attitude and even complained about being “short handed”, which made no sense considering how empty the place was. To make matters worse, she spent most of the time just standing around instead of helping.

If this is how service is when the place is nearly empty, I can’t imagine how bad it gets when it’s actually busy. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Amazing bratwurst and schnitzel with spatzel noodles. Great selection of beers. I had the König Pilsner and loved it. Perfect temperature and choice of 500ml or 1L glass stein. The staff is attentive and friendly and there is ample indoor and outdoor seating. They also serve hamburgers that looked good; their fries are simple, but nicely prepared and the pretzel was amazing.
The restaurant is associated with Olympus Greek Cafe, who have really, really good Gyros and kebabs, so there does wind up being something for everyone. I highly recommend Das Bierhauz!

A must-visit pub in Mountain View if you’re looking for a pocket-friendly place with a unique European feel. Unlike a typical American bar, this German-style beer garden offers a lively, communal atmosphere. You can grab a seat at one of the long tables and enjoy a variety of German beers on tap, along with classic food like pretzels and sausages. It’s a great place to experience a different kind of pub culture without breaking the bank.
