Quaint Luby’s with good service and good food. First time eating at this location and we loved it. Will be back for sure. Mom had the chopped steak with cheese and bacon and she loved it! The mashed potatoes are so good.

If I could give no stars I would. Just ordered two to go plates of bacon cheese steak. On the glass in frint of the cheese steaks was a 6.99 fan favorite sign. When I got to the register I was charged 10.49 per plate. I voiced my displeasure to the cashier. He was no help. When I got to my truck to leave I was so mad I called the “manager “. I told him it was very misleading the way the “fan favorite” sign was posted on the glass by this item. He was no help either and did not even ask if there was anything he could do to straighten out the situation. Pictures attached….

Today the 28th of July 2018 was the worst service I have ever received at any restaurant. Got all you can eat food was cold and waitress never came to check on us. Waited 37 minutes for her to serve us my sister waived her hand and this lady still did not come. Whelp never going there again food also tasted sour

The food was good. I don’t really care for the hamburger steak with cheese on top because it does not taste like 100% ground beef, they must use additives to the meat, and not great texture! It didn’t sit well in my stomach either! The salads are good. The veggies are good. The bread is good. The tea is good! The service was excellent!

Wednesdays are kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entree. Everyone gets what they want at a reasonable cost. The food was good. The service was great. It’s hard to find a place you can eat at comfortably with a 9 month old but lubys fits the bill well. We will definitely be back.

I just started eating here after living in Deer park after over 30 years. Was looking for something new to try and thought I might enjoy something from here. Well I can say that the food is not that bad I feel that for the portions that you get it’s just on a tad bit pricey side. I’ve never had any problems with any of the service. I always order ahead of time online and pick it up through the drive-thru. Twice they didn’t have the dessert that I wanted and let me choose any of the other ones that they had as a substitute. Only once did they forget something on my order. They’re really really quick. usually says it’ll take about 15 minutes when I place the order online but I get a text within 5 minutes and that my order is ready. I haven’t eaten at any other cafeteria type restaurants to gauge it by but I would eat here again. Good for a night when you’re too exhausted to cook at home and would prefer something other than the same old fast food.

Always wonderful food and portions. Know many of the staff personally…like a family..very helpful. Corporate needs to seriously consider leaving our Deer Park location in operation. This is the only cafeteria style in our area. Needs to be for numerous reasons, one of the nutrition servings for many of local senior citizens. This location is a great location.
