For context, we ordered to-go. Despite ordering in advance, there was still a bit of a wait. It was a weekend evening, so I get that it can be busy, honestly no biggie. Sadly, one of the items we ordered (churro cheesecake) was not available when my partner arrived to pick up the food, which was a real bummer.
The Fajita Mixtas was really good, well-seasoned, and a great portion size. However, the rice and beans accompanying it was devastatingly small— idk that I’ve ever been given such a small portion by a Mexican restaurant; it was under a half portion of each compared to the photos other reviewers have posted of the same dish served in-house. This was less than ideal, since we were sharing the meal at home and only got the tiniest portion each after splitting it. The beans were kinda meh (glad they added cheese crumbles), but the rice was well seasoned at least.
The chips and salsa were not it for $6; thin, super greasy, tasted like everything else that had been in the fryer, and they nearly forgot the salsa (which I would’ve been BIG mad about)— the employee had to chase my partner down in the parking lot to give it to him. With the extra time it took, I would’ve hoped that the whole order was completely together and double-checked before making it to our hands. The salsa roja was okay; portion was decent, good spice level, but not as much onion chunks as I would’ve liked. Not really “restaurant style” like many people prefer, which is fine with me as long as there’s some heft to it, but it fell short there.
I’d guess that the dining-in experience is better based on photos, so we may give that a try in the future, and hopefully I can give them another star if that’s the case. Would definitely come back for the fajitas and the elusive churro cheesecake, lol. As it stands, 3/5; don’t short your carry-out customers, fam!

Went here for our 30th wedding anniversary. We didn’t have reservations but it was only a 30 minute wait, to be expected on New Years Eve eve. I liked their system to keep you appraised with your wait time and standing with an app.
We were seated and quickly served chips, salsa and refried beans. These were delicious and kept us fully busy while we ordered drinks and waited for our soon to arrive food.
Our food was wonderful and the drinks were tasty. We were pleasantly surprised with the cost of food and drinks. Three drinks, fantastic food, attentive service, with a generous tip we were out of there under $100.
We’ll definitely be back again!

This is one the best mexican spots in the salt lake valley. It is very authentic and all the dishes I have tried have been incredible. The aguas frescas are also very good. On top of that, the service has been great every single time!

Definitely a loud environment, so we didn’t bring our autistic children. If you like the experience of open space, mariachis, and large portions, then you will like the vibe here. Also, the menu is very seafood oriented.

This place offers incredibly delicious seafood dishes at great prices, and the portions are huge. With a fantastic selection to picky eaters like me, it’s truly a gem! The ceviche, octopus, and fish are all fresh and the drinks are superior delicious. We’ve already returned for the third time in the past month and a half.

We ate at the new restaurant on Fort Union on 2/20/2026 at 4:00 pm. We ordered the birria taco combos – I ordered the combo with queso, but was never given queso. The tacos were pretty basic – not good enough to have us return as there are other places way better. The churro cheesecake for $8 got thrown out half way eaten – it was not good at all! The music was extremely LOUD, and uncomfortable!! The biggest issue we found is that THREE BONES WERE FOUND in the birria meat!!!!! That is unacceptable- my son almost broke a tooth on one of them! We won’t be going back to this place!!!!

The chips bean and salsa at the beginning was a great way to start the experience. I had gone a few times to their old location in Taylorsville and we didn’t like it. We gave this one a try and we loved it!
The waiter/bartender were super nice in giving us information on the menu and drinks. I was very impressed with the large menu and atmosphere.
Great job guys this place is 10/10 I will be going to this location.

My family’s favorite place! The atmosphere is great and the food is always delicious! They take reservations which is great since it does get busy, but I always love to come def worth the wait. Edgar is a great waiter and very inventive and always made sure we were okay
