Last time I visited, I ordered the Fried okra with rice and Chicken Alfredo, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the portion was satisfying. The interior feels fresh and well maintained, with a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, a wonderful experience.

My husband got the hamburger steak with gravy and grilled onions, side of Mac and cheese and pintos with onions. I had the club sandwich with turkey, ham, lettuce and tomato. Two sweet teas and a very large piece of snickers cake! About $44 dollars then tip. Our waitress was polite and personable! We don’t go often but we do return.

Please be careful when eating their food. I nearly swallowed a staple. If I didn’t chew my food properly it would have been inside my body. smh.

I’ve been contemplating leaving a review because normally me and my wife enjoy this restaurant too much, but a couple of weeks ago I have never been more disappointed. I am 68 years young, and i’ve been having trouble with my joints. With this being said, when we came in, we were greeted with no host, leaving us with a wait. It is a hassle to get up and down as an old man, and when the host sat us, she didn’t even ask us where we wanted to go, she just grabbed the menus and expected us to go. Once we sat down, we were expecting to have a better experience once we got served, well, we were placed with a girl, I don’t remember her name. Maybe it was a city name? I’m not too sure. She seemed more focused on talking with the non-existent host rather than attending to us. Whenever we needed something, me and my wife had to wait a long while before she got to us, normally we are very patient, but for the service we received I was very upset. Our food was alright, my corn had a rotten spot on it, and my wife never got her cornbread. When we got our check, we went up front, and to my surprise, the red haired lady was nowhere to be found. When we were seen up front waiting, the red haired girl and our waitress ran up together with food in their hands. They wonder why we didn’t tip more, and this is why. This used to me and my wives favorite spot, as we ate here multiple times a day. But now it’s a spot full of lazy teenagers, profanity, and we will likely not return.
I have a birthday coming up in March, and I thought about booking here, but on second thought, to risk having an awful waitress again isn’t worth it. I just hope the manager realizes that nobody wants to be surrounded by girls who don’t want to work.

A typical family-friendly, family-run restaurant with a huge menu selection of daily specials, salads, Greek dishes, Italian offerings, veggies, and deserts. I had the Greek chicken plate which came with Greek salad, pita, and tziki sauce. Chicken was very flavorful, having been seasoned well. Fries were lukewarm & not that great. Service was excellent, friendly & food arrived quickly. Good place for comfort food.

This was my first time here. I got the Chicken Pita and the chicken was super dry. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said that is what the sauce is for and asked if I wanted more sauce. Anyways would NOT recommend that dish!!! My friend had the ribs and they were wonderful. The fried mushrooms were really good.
The wait service was great, we were sat immediately and food comes out pretty quick. I would come back here to try their breakfast next time.

First and foremost, the receptionists, especially the male one, who are responsible to assign the table, ignore my waiting! I have told them I am only one when I first came! I was there waiting for at least 15 mins, and observed many people who were later then me could be assigned early than me! I gave my waiting signals to them! The male guy just ignored my request! I asked the female when it was my turn, she said I could only listen to him! What the earth the reception service? Honestly, this is my first time with this strong feeling about queue! I hope this post can be reviewed by the managers, to improve the on line sequence!!!

Great place to go for home cooking when you don’t feel like cooking yourself. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The service is always great. They’ll make sure to refill your drink often. They always have specials and it’s always a nice variety. I had the marinated beef strips with rice and gravy the last time I was here and really enjoyed it. The inside isn’t dated and is kept clean. Love coming to the Family House.

This was a first time stop but definitely not a last , WOW! Parking was the only concern because it was packed. However only took 5 minutes to get seated by a great server. From there it only got better, Food was out super fast, Hot, and large portioned. Why haven’t we been here before was our conversation between bites of great tasting food. I recommend the marinated flank steak ,but our table had grilled chicken done do a “T” as well. T for Tasty, Teriffic, To much to finish at one time. A chicken pot pie that was huge ,also . Well worth th stop. Oh! Also the desserts!!!! I’m serious, you got to try this spot. 5 adults ,3 teas , 2 waters, 5 entrées, 2 extra sides, 2 pieces of cake . Just under $20 ea. After tax . Amazing. Coming back in the morning for breakfast.
