The Cracker Barrel has long been my go-to restaurant for comfort food. When I visit my family in Springfield, I try to visit this restaurant at least once either for breakfast or dinner. This time, we came for dinner and got seated right away, but it took a long time to receive our food. In all fairness, though, we did have a large group of 12. I ordered the rainbow trout with fried okra, mashed potatoes, and their seasonal broccoli cheddar and rice side dish. The fish was a bit fishy, and the potatoes were a bit dry, but overall, I enjoyed my dinner. My trip to Cracker Barrel is never complete without their corn bread with butter and honey. Very tasty. I also enjoy their country home atmosphere with their large fireplace. Very cozy.

Thanks to my server Carly attentiveness and patience I had such a fantastic experience at this Cracker Barrel! The food is fabulous. The chicken fried chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the biscuits were hot and fluffy, and the strawberry lemonade was so refreshing — I’m still thinking about it.
On top of the great food, the shopping area was incredible. I found so many unique and charming Christmas gifts. Jamie and her coworkers went above and beyond helping me track down sizes, colors, and ideas. They were patient, friendly, and genuinely seemed excited to help me put together the perfect presents.
Between the delicious meal and the amazing customer service, this visit absolutely made my day. I’ll definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cracker Barrel food quality has seriously decreased. My husband and I got the Country Fried Steak and it was like they fried up a breaded frozen hamburger. Nothing tasted like the fresh homemade meal you would expect, like I remember experiencing the other times going to a Cracker Barrel. Our server was terrible. Took 5 + minutes after being seated to be greeted at our table by anyone or get a drink order in. We had the wrong orders, had to ask for multiple things we order to be brought out, even had to ask for silverware after the food was served. The bathrooms were also completely disgusting. The trash was overflowing just like the “female trash” disposal bin. The floors were also gross. We were so excited to have an evening at Cracker Barrel as we don’t have one near where we live and the whole experience was an utter letdown.

The biscuits were soft and warm! YAY! The grits were watery. Eggs and bacon were normal. The diet coke was $3.69 (ridiculous) and I was charged .99 to put some cheese on the grits. Please tell people when your staff ask you if you want something extra you did not ask for that there is an upcharge! Bill before tip was $17 for an ordinary meal. Was a bit loud. Waitress was friendly! Ok place to stop but nothing special.

Michelle is the best waitress. I can’t say enough good things about her. She was extremely kind and attentive, even while training another waitress. She made this visit exceptionally good. The retail staff are so helpful and inviting. The food was fresh and delicious. This place knows how to do business better. We love this Cracker Barrel. A+ rating here.

Very friendly restaurant with good food. I love the new Herb Roasted Chicken! This is an oven roasted chicken with citrus herb sauce and is amazing!

Wasn’t what I thought it would be. My first visit and I wasn’t impressed. The food was edible just lacked salt. Alot of it tasted like it was prepackaged frozen food. We ordered dinner , an appetizer and dessert. Pricing wasn’t the worst. I recommend this place if you are just hungry and need somewhere to sit however the table near the bread sign was so wobbly we almost just left.

The food was hot, well cooked and served quickly! I was not wild about the hasbrown casserole skillet but I do love everything that goes into the individual layers. I think next time I’ll just order them each separately. Together they were a little too thick.

Worst visit.I have ever had at cracker barrel. Forty five minutes before we received our food. Mine was not even warm. No gravy on the cold potatoes. Was told you were short of staff. I am a member, but at the cash register. They could not find me. Such a disappointment. I had ordered thanksgiving dinner from you and it was excellent. Sorry you have not been able to keep it up.

We arrived at 12:09 and didn’t get our food till 1:30, our waitress Charleen was an absolutely amazing young lady. She entered our food and computer shut off and she wasn’t able to enter she repeatedly apologized for any inconvenience we assured her it was not her fault. This young lady was a very outstanding young lady. We would recommend her to be our waitress anytime.
