There’s customer service, and then there is customer service with “HEART”. The latter is what we were blessed to our experience on our Anniversary at Mr. Mike’s Steakhouse Casual.
Nat(h)alia, Kat, and Chef Chris really came through and made our Anniversary special.
The food was outstanding! My wife thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken and Rib Dinner.
The steak I was served was better than a lot of steakhouses we’ve been to, as well as it was cooked to perfection by Chef Chris. The lobster and garlic mash were also excellent.
Barbecuing is a hobby of mine, and I’ve become quite proficient at…oh hell I make a wicked steak, so i’m pretty critical. Chef Chris nailed it!
The service was excellent, sincere, happy, attentive.
The quality of food and drink was topnotch.
The price was also very reasonable.
Incredibly cohesive team that genuinely cares for the customer, and each other. Well done…ahem, figuratively speaking of course, pun fully intended. – (medium rare forever!!!)
We loved the atmosphere, comfortable, inviting, yet elegant.
The Value… Put it this way… The Keg is no longer our go to.
If when you go in, and are blessed to be served by any one of these 3, tell them Daan the radio guy says Hello.

My fiancé and I have been to MANY restaurants over the last 5 years and we always like to try something new, but this was absolutely the BEST restaurant experience I have ever had – and we typically go to The Keg – Mr.Mikes will be our usual from now on, for casual and special occasions. The staff, the food, and the overall experience was AMAZING! 11/10 recommend this restaurant.
Our server Tracy was amazing and made our experience unforgettable.

The KEG needs to sit down. This place wins! I have never had a better steak. Mr.Mikes knows what’s up! This steak melts in your mouth. We also had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and it was bomb!

Our first visit here and we plan to come back often! Smaller sized restaurant. Good options for seating, good volume for music, a few tvs, nice decor. Awesome options for food, higher-end but reasonable pricing. Lisa was our server extraordinaire! She was very knowledgeable and hilarious! We started with Lobster Dip and our main was the rib eye steak and shrimp! Medium rare was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Basic keto salad well paired with good ingredients. From the moment we walked into the new Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Casual in Kitchener, we knew we were in for a treat—but this place exceeded every expectation.
The presentation of the meals was flawless, like something out of a high-end magazine. The steaks were cooked perfectly to order, juicy and full of flavor, with every bite better than the last. The onion rings were a standout—crispy, golden perfection with absolutely no greasy aftertaste, clearly made with fresh, clean oil. Even the sides were elevated, beautifully plated and bursting with flavor.
Our server, Lisa, was beyond amazing—attentive, kind, and went above and beyond to make our date night unforgettable. She added special touches that truly made the evening feel one-of-a-kind. It’s rare to experience that level of genuine care and professionalism these days, and Lisa nailed it.
Every detail, from the ambiance to the plating to the last bite, was 5-star worthy. Kitchener was absolutely missing a spot like this, and now that it’s here, we’ll be back again and again. If you’re looking for a next-level dining experience with phenomenal service, Mr. Mikes is it.

We had an enjoyable time here! It’s a newly opened place, so there are still a few kinks to work out, but overall a great experience.
The beef dip was excellent, and the garlic Parmesan fries were also a standout… I highly recommend both dishes. I also tried the lobster cheese dip. Personally, I found it a bit too heavy on the cheese and light on the lobster flavor. That said, the nachos that came with it were fantastic,made in-house and super tasty, reminded me of something you’d get at a good Mexican restaurant. I still enjoyed the dip overall.
I’m planning to come back in a few weeks to try a steak and will update my review then.

I had high hopes for a decent sit down in Huron South, but this ain’t it. Steak was totally flavorless and chewy. No way it’s dry aged 28.5 days. Went with the rib steak with the keto sides and a garlic bread. The bread add-on was like $7. It’s half a bun with some marble cheese on top, the mushrooms were maybe 2 small mushrooms and some garlic, total rip-off.
Desert was pretty good and the service was nice.

Maybe in a few months time they will have it together but this place won’t last if the food/value doesn’t improve dramatically. They get it together.

This is my second time coming, and just like the first, it was exceptional! Tracy and Sarah were amazing! They were super friendly and attentive.
The food as always was delicious. The Cajun Chicken Fettuccine is super good and the portion is very reasonable! It’s super filling so both times I’ve had leftovers. 🙂
The price is reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get, and the service definitely makes it even more worth it.
This is a newer establishment so if you’re looking for something new to try, you should check them out! They have a good variety of dishes, so you should most definitely be able to find something to your taste.

The Food was delicious. I had The sirloin and Lobster Mac meal. I also had soup and Garlic bread with Cheese and got bacon added to it they give an option of bits or Strip the Sticky toffee pudding. If I could give this place 10 Stars I would. Claire was our server and she was very knowledgeable about the menu had recommendations and genuinely seems to enjoy her job
