So comforting and delicious!

Everything here was SO GOOD
In winter, when you’re craving something warm and comforting, Korean soup is always the answer. It’s about a 30-minute drive from our home, totally worth it.

We ordered the raw fish platter, which was super fresh and delicious. The seafood scallion pancake was a bit on the oily side, but still tasty. It was my first time trying the pollock fish stew! The broth was incredibly flavorful, comforting, and full of umami. The bulgogi was classic and well done, simple but good.

Their banchan were also amazing, especially the soy-marinated crab and fish cake!

And the service was outstanding. I was wearing a white top, and they immediately brought me an apron We never even had to ask for water, they would refill it for us proactively. Both the Korean ajumma and the Chinese auntie were so kind and attentive.

I truly loved this place and will 100% be back. Highly recommend! ❤️

Truly a hidden gem!! This authentic Korean restaurant beats out popular spots in the city. We were greeted warmly upon entry and immediately served tea and a wide assortment of banchan (the tiny side dishes). We started with Pajeon (seafood & green onion pancake) and honestly I’ve had this in countless places and it was the best Pajeon I have ever had- not soggy at all, and the seafood was tender and not annoyingly chewy. Also had the Japchae (excellent), Combo #1 (LA Galbi Short Rib and and soft tofu stew) and a summer special of chilled buckwheat noodles. The portions were generous and the wait staff really were attentive and so helpful. The place has a homey feel like you’re at your favorite auntie’s house. 10/10, no notes, this will be in my heavy rotation.

Lovely new Korean restaurant in the neighborhood. Generous portion sizes. Efficient service. Flavorful, freshly prepared meals. We tried the pork cutlet, bibimbap in chicken, pork belly, and beef on hot stone, with dumplings for starters. The dumplings and pork belly were deep fried – tasty but different. The beef was similar to shaved steak, loved it. Would love to visit again.

This place is very good. I went here for lunch here on a date. This spot has a nice little family feel to it. When you come here I recommend trying the traditional Korean food. We each went with a soft tofu stew. One with beef and one with seafood. They were both delicious. They come in very hot bowls that keep the soup nice and hot throughout the whole meal. It all is complemented nicely with the various fermented side dishes they bring out to you. All washed down with a glass of water and tea. It’s something one could get used too. Would come back again.

I had the Galbitang at Dake Sushi and it was absolutely phenomenal rich, comforting, and full of flavor. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for, which is rare to find these days. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive from start to finish. If you’re looking for authentic Korean food with exceptional hospitality, I highly recommend this place. A true gem!!

Delicious food, great service, and generous side dishes. We ordered the grilled yellow croaker, soon tofu stew, Korean pancake, and beef bimbimbap which was perfect for three hungry people.

I’ve been a loyal customer at this restaurant for months, if not years, and it’s clear that there’s discriminatory treatment against non-Korean customers. The staff, particularly the hardworking ladies, always appear to be doing a good job with Korean patrons, but when it comes to non-Koreans, the service is noticeably lacking.

One of the highlights of the Korean dining experience is the variety of side dishes (Kimchi) that accompany the meal, but I’ve consistently noticed a discrepancy. While Korean customers receive the full set of 8 to 10 side dishes, we barely get 5 or 6 items. This isn’t a one-time issue—it happens frequently. When I asked about the missing items, I was told, “Sometimes we have them, sometimes we don’t,” yet other tables had the full spread that day.

To the management: please train your staff to provide the same level of service to all customers, regardless of their background. It’s unfair and diminishes the dining experience. To the waitstaff: please be more mindful, as this small oversight really impacts the overall enjoyment of the meal. Thank you.

Went there with 2 toddlers and the hub got the combo galbi and 순두부 (tofu soup) and donkkatsu. The food was great however not so sure about the service. We only.ordered 2 dishes.because the little.ones dont eat much and when we ordered it felt as if they were disappointed /surprised?we only.ordered 2 dishes, I felt uneasy so I asked would that not be enough? She said no no and walked away. After we got our food they didnt ask.us if we needed rice with our combo or even give us more water. But they were really friendly and attentive to some of the other guests, who seemed to be regulars.overall food was great, service definitely needs improvement. I would definitely go back to try the other dishes maybe with a bigger appetite next time

Soybean tofu soup was good, however their service can be improved whether it is filling up the water/checking if everything is good or washing their hands first while eating their lunch then decided to fill up and serve customer’ side dishes when it got busy. Other than that pretty nice cozy place.
