This was our first time at Texas Roadhouse. We tried to get in one night last week and the waiting line scared us away. My boss recommended to get on the waitlist and you can wait in your car until time to come sit “ON DECK”. You get seated quickly from there, but before you do there’s a counter / cooler area you can take a gander at their steaks. Once seated, Christian our server came over and took our drink and app order then quickly returned with everything. He was hands down one of the best waiters Ive had, checking on us without being bothersome, catering to our every ask. It’s a fast paced but fun vibe, the staff even does line dancing. Several other people checked in on us during the meal. They really strive to make your dinner a pleasant experience. The food was magnificent just the hearty meal we were looking for. Steaks, potatoes, veggies and more. We left with a healthy doggie bag as did many others, you really get your money’s worth here. It might’ve been crowded but the pace was just right.. We will definitely be back.

We had an absolutely fantastic dinner at the Texas Roadhouse in Lawrence! I ordered the grilled chicken, and it was cooked perfectly – so juicy and flavorful. My friends both got steaks, and they were raving about how delicious and tender they were.
Beyond the food, the whole atmosphere was just great. It was lively, fun, and exactly what you hope for when you go out for a good meal. The service was friendly, and those rolls are just dangerously good! We all left happy and very full. We will definitely be back.

Food was ok. Seasoning was a little much on the pork chop. Baked potato way to much salt.Blooming onion sauce tasted off. Chicken fried steak was good. Mashed potatoes were ok

This place was great. First time there. We went on the Friday before Valentine’s day. We thought it would be busy and it was but we only waited about 15 min for a table. The entire staff is super nice and helpful. You can tell they really emphasize good customer service. The complimentary bread is divine. The food was great – my husband had the sirloin steak and I had the salmon. We each had a cocktail. Really enjoyable. If you read a negative review from a local Lawrence guy, ignore it. He writes negative reviews about every restaurant. I highly recommend Texas Roadhouse in Lawrence. 10 years and still a wait to get seated. That is saying something. Good job Texas Roadhouse. We will definitely be back.

Definitely one of the best restaurants here in Lawrence. It’s always a good vibe and fun when you go inside. We celebrated my buddies birthday and a super fun. They put them on the saddle, and it was pretty funny. Great birthday spot to take your friends or family. Food is always immaculate and never misses. It’s always on point. I definitely recommend checking them out for a good meal out!

Our waitress was by far the worst waitress i have had in a very long time. She took our drinks orders and our food order and did not come back to the table unless we asked someone to get her. Told the manager, you know when they come around and ask how everything is, but that did not seem to change anything. Then my daughter got an order to go, and she messed it up. We should have checked it before we left, but we didn’t. So, when we took the food to her husband whom was working. It was wrong. So if you get a waitress [Sheridan] at the Lawrence location ask for a different waitress. Just to set things good and clear, they were not busy at the time.

They seem to have a difficult time getting steaks right. I had ordered medium rare that medium. My daughter had ordered well done and hers was medium as well. We asked to have it return because my daughter will not eat a medium steak. She wants hers well done The manager brought out the steak and said to my daughter cut into it. Both my daughter and I took one look at it and realized that it was completely overcooked. It looked like beef jerky. I thought I didn’t cut into it and just said well. I can tell it’s done now by looking at it I don’t have to cut into it. The steak was completely unedible. It was beef jerky. I am convinced that this was done on purpose out of spite. The owners deck that was correct was the one that my granddaughter got. It was medium rare the way we had ordered it. I am really upset about still having to pay for the beef jerky even though we weren’t able to eat it.

Such an amazing restaurant, lovely staff and great food I love coming here I’ve never had a bad experience if there is a complaint they are quick to make sure things are taken care of. Waitress was checking up on us during our time here and made sure we had everything we needed!!
