First time visit to the Gallatin, TN Cracker Barrel with some wonderful long time friends to enjoy some lunchtime food and fellowship. Great food experience as usual and one of us had the Grandma’s Special breakfast that was loaded with all kinds of goodies. The fried chicken was huge pieces fried very crispy and the Pot Roast skillet didn’t disappoint. I had one of my favorites which was Lemon pepper Rainbow Trout with sides, cornbread, and biscuits of course. Everything was 5 star as usual!

Lee/Everett is the best. The manager is the best. If you ever have a chance, sit in his section. He brings out everything you need without you even asking. Best service. The honey must is on point. Lol. I love the gallatin cracker barrel.

I have not visited Cracker Barrel for several months because of my last experience several months ago being not so great but decided to try again at my 3 young grandson’s request and still not a fan as I have always been over my lifetime. This will be my last visit there until something changes. We did arrive on the early side for dinner, had a great waiter, and then the rest will be history. First, no soap in the ladies bathroom so I did notify the hostess but wonder if that issue was resolved. Second, pricing has gone up which I can understand but the portions have gotten smaller so when everyone is still hungry after ordering adult meals including my husband and myself, why would I spend that kind of money to have to go home and eat more food. Third, the silverware was spotted but some of it was actually dirty as witnessed by feeling dried food so had to double check everything because this is not the season to have filth and sickness. No soap in the bathroom so how do the employees wash their hands before cooking my food and maybe no soap for the dishes since several pieces were actually dirty. Nope… not again for a long time which is sad because I always loved Cracker Barrel but with this change, don’t waste your money and sorry I did mine! One more thing… I always loved the roaring fire in that big stone fireplace but the wood in there compared with the amount of food now on the place… miniscule and barely flickering. Sad..

Our waiter was a little timid, but understandable as he is a senior in high school and had only worked for 2 weeks. He did a decent job. The food was only warm when brought out, breakfast is better hot! However, we never got butter and jelly, maybe a little more training.

We ordered the Christmas dinner for 8-10 people. The food all comes cold but that’s to be expected with that amount of food. The heating/cooking time are presented in a straight forward manner… took me about 31/2 hours. All the dishes were very good and the timing came out just right. They forgot our pies and we had to go back. Fortunately not far. Check before departing.

Ordered online for the next day for our family Thanksgiving. Pickup was easy, but I get home and our order wasn’t correct. I called then restaurant and let them know and the answer I received was, we can give you a refund or you can come back and pick up the right items. We live 20 mins away so returning to pick up the correct items wasn’t an option and everyone was waiting to eat. We wont make the mistake of ordering there again.

Our server was sweet and attentive. The food quality overall has went down while prices have went up.
The gravy was old and certainly wasn’t white anymore. My son’s pancakes were so tough, the butter knife was struggling to cut through them. My husband’s salmon was equally tough. Very disappointing.

I haven’t been here since all the drama, not because of that. But wow I have no idea what happened but I was so impressed. Kinzi was an amazing waitress, the food was fresh and the portions so big I had to get a box! Store and restaurant both clean and busy! Food was delivered fast! Great job Gallatin TJ Cracker Barrel we will be back for sure!

This is a hard review to have to write. Crackers Barrel has always been one of the best and one of my favorites for food and service. Unfortunately my most recent experience there was pathetic. We ordered the Old Timers Breakfast. The service was slow and the restaurant was not even crowded. The serving size was not even enough to satisfy a hungry baby let alone an adult. The eggs were not completely cooked. When a manager just happened to stop and check if everything was okay, we spoke up about the eggs not properly cooked. She apologized and offered to take them back. That was kind of here. However they still did not get it right. To top it off both meals with one ice tea and one orange juice was $44.00. So don’t be surprised when this happens.
