Looking for a good fish dinner, but we were kinda disappointed. We had a bit of a wait, no surprise on a Friday night. Server was pleasant but the service wasn’t great. Fish was just ok. Fried mushrooms were pretty good and you get a huge basket. Hush puppies are fantastic! River view was nice.

Four of us stopped in. Started with the hush puppies, which were great.
Wife had the fish and chips which she enjoyed. I had the whitefish platter with fries and garden slaw. Not impressed with the garden slaw. Fries were cool. But overall the fish was good. My friend has the onion rings with his cod filet platter which he enjoyed along with a baked potato. His wife had a baked potato they both says those were good. We waited a really long time for our food.
But we had no place to be. So all was ok. Our server was busy with all the people out on the deck with us so she did a real good job. Missed the potato pics

Love the fried fish & the onion rings! Ate on the patio overlooking the river & downtown Louisville. Beautiful evening. I’m sorry I forgot to photograph the food but I did capture what later was determined to be a car fire in downtown Louisville parking garage.

My sister and I stopped on our way from Atlanta to Indianapolis to have lunch. We lived there back in the early 60’s and our Dad would take our family on Friday night and I always remembered this place. Hence we stopped for nostalgia reasons and we were not disappointed. It sits on the Ohio River and you get a fantastic view of downtown Louisville from the Indiana side. The food was good and the hush puppies were giant and oh so good as were the onion rings. The fried shrimp along with their homemade tartar sauce were also very good. The portions are nice and big and their service was fast and on point. So glad we stopped as it brought back some great memories for my sister and I.

I visit this restaurant once a year when I visit Jeffersonville. The food is good and plentiful. The server was good, but not great. We had to keep asking for refills, which weren’t always accurate. I ordered fried cod, fried shrimp, and chicken stripe with fries and onion rings. Everything I ordered was good. I will definitely return and highly recommend it.

Good experience. Nice view of Louisville KY from Indiana King Fish. Everything was good, but could have been great. Most pictures were taken from Ashland Park just a few minutes from King Fish. Nice date night. It’s definitely time for King Fish to make some updates. The restaurant and food presentation definitely needs some upgrades. I feel like King Fish is stuck in the 80’s. There was a live band down below us. That is a nice touch. Check the website for details about when live bands are onsite. The hostess is very dull, and not welcoming. I visited this King Fish twice within a month and the same hostess both times was not friendly, smiling or welcoming. The atmosphere is dull, and not inviting, but it’s who you’re dining with that matters.

First time trying here. Building and dining area is a bit outdated. Our server was nice and the service was quick but food quality wasn’t good. I tried fish and chips basket, the fish and shrimp didn’t have any flavor and the fries were not fresh. We liked their fried corn bread.
