Outstanding service really makes this place shine, high quality locally sourced ingredients and Greek-inspired are also excellent. We really enjoy coming here and really can’t say enough positive things about the staff.
The pizza and mezzo plate got us through COVID, and we look forward to the lobster rolls come summer time. Quarterly specials menu is a great thing. Want a criticism? A few more specials here and there to spice things up. The core menu is great, but after this many years we want to wander.
I ordered a Veal Parmesan Sub, with a side of French fries and a Pepsi. The sub was toasted with a satisfying portion of tasty Veal, smothered with tomato sauce and a hearty portion of the melted cheese. The side of fries was very large, and nice and crispy just the way I like them. Two of us shared the fries, and we still took half the order home. If there are two of you that want fries, share an order, you won’t need more than one order.
It was 6:00 pm on a Monday, and the dining room was full with only 2 tables left. The noise sound volume from all the people was off the charts, very loud and annoying. It was so loud I put in earplugs used for rock music concerts and they didn’t help cut the volume much.
Next time I will eat in the bar, where there wasn’t any loud people trying to talk over other people seated at tables 10-20 feet away or screaming babies and little kids walking around in the dining room. When will new parents learn to control their kids, like in the old-days, “when kids were seen, but not heard” ?
The food was good, as was the portions, and the service was good. My only complaint was the loud, obnoxious, people and their screaming kids, which the restaurant has no control over.
I would recommend going here in the middle of the afternoon around 2-3 PM between the feeding rush-hours, or if the parking lot looks busy like it was when we arrived, sit in the bar if there are any seats available. On the Monday night of our visit by 7 pm the bar was full, with no seats left.
MY TAB WAS
$15.50 Veal Parmesan Sub
$7.95 French Fries
$3.75 Pepsi
$27.20 subtotal
$1.70 (MA meal tax)
$6.00 Tip
$34.90 TOTAL
They have a large free parking lot on the side and wheelchair handy-cap parking right in front, plus a wheel-chair ramp to the front door.
I got the Chicken Marsala, my Mom got the Seafood Florentine both were amazing. Also the Bruschetta and Zucchini Chips were amazing.
For cocktails, if you like bourbon/whisky, try the Chrysanthi’s Old Fashioned, sooo good!!
We have ordered pizza and it’s been messy and floppy everytime we order one For pickup.
Also the Salads are honestly way too expensive for what you get. I paid about 20 dollars for the Below Pictured Grilled Chicken Caeser Salad. We bought two of those and an appetizer and we paid over $60 Dollars. The Chicken also was cold so It wasn’t fresh grilled. That’s not a good value whatsoever. Every time we have picked anything up, we have always been disappointed.
