Olive Garden never disappoints. The service is always excellent. Our dishes were pleasing. Although we ordered the unlimited special, we were not able to eat a second service due the portion size. I’m ready to return to dine again.

I haven’t been to Olive Garden in 10yrs. I’m celebrating new things in my life and I went there today to enjoy a good meal and atmosphere. I got exactly that! Let me start by saying that the Trussville location made me feel very welcome. I believe a business is only as good as it’s staff. My server Haley really made an impression on me. She was thoughtful, kind, quick and professional! You don’t see that much anymore, especially with the younger generation. Ask for her if you can! My meal was brought to me hot and well prepared. I ordered their calamari appetizer. Not rubbery. Cooked right and the sauces were not too tangy or or bitter at all. My salad was prepared well and their bread sticks were on point! I ordered the chicken parmesan for my main course. It was hot, the cheese melted well and the spaghetti was also a good length and everything came together as it was supposed to. I highly recommend the meal I enjoyed today. I don’t want to forget their manager. He stopped by, introduced himself listened intently on what I had to say and was engaging with me well. I watched and listened as he we visited other tables and spoke well to others too. He was not fake. He was genuine and truly concerned in what ppl had to say. I watched other servers engage with customers too and I must say, the Trussville Olive Garden has much to be proud of by what I saw and experienced today. Thank you all so much! I hope to return to your location again soon. God bless

The food was as you would expect we got the soup and salad, grilled chicken Alfredo.
Our waiter needs more experience and needs to memorize his menu a little better. And also needs to learn the proper way to ask what the guest is wanting instead of what do you want, what can I get for you today, is there anything else you may need? Etc coming from a server to a server!

Our latest dining adventure took us to Olive Garden, where we indulged in an evening of great drinks, overflowing cheese, and a feast of pasta and breadsticks.
I kicked things off with the spiked strawberry lemonade, and let me tell you—it hit just right. Sweet, refreshing, and with just enough kick to make the meal feel extra special. The classic salad arrived, and we fully committed to the Olive Garden experience by waiting as long as possible before telling our server to stop grating cheese. Let’s just say, the bowl was practically buried under a snowy mountain of parmesan, and we have no regrets.
For the main event, I went with the fettuccine alfredo—a creamy, rich masterpiece. The sauce was velvety smooth, the pasta perfectly cooked, and every bite was indulgent. And, of course, the breadsticks lived up to their legendary status: warm, soft, and seasoned to perfection. You can never go wrong with those.
The staff at this location were top-notch—friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to ensure we had everything we needed. The restaurant was immaculately clean, which only added to the overall comfort and experience.

From the bottomless cheese to the impeccable service, Olive Garden delivered a fantastic dining experience. If you’re looking for a cozy, carb-filled night with good drinks and even better pasta, this place never disappoints.

Would we come back? Absolutely—especially for another round of that cheese-grating challenge.

Salad: wonderful, breadstix; wonderful. Spaghetti—– worst thing I’ve ever tried to eat. It ruined the rest of my food so I got full on salad. I think they should actually try it. Our server was great, he earned every cent. I know the chicken Alfredo was delicious but I couldn’t eat it due to the Spaghetti and meatballs.

We were quickly seated and the server came out quickly. The server Holden was great! He made great food suggestions and we enjoyed everything. The manager brought out the appetizer very nice touch. I haven’t been here in years but I’ll be back soon.

When we got our food, food was great, no complaints there. But there were several times we had to get our server’s attention when we needed refills and to clear the table of empty dirty dishes. Even at the end of the meal, there were alteast 10 empty glasses on the table. I could’ve looked the other way on all those things except when it was time to pay, the waitress wouldn’t let go of the payment terminal/tablet at the table. She held the tablet while I was paying and then practically chose the tip amount to pay, which tipped me off. Then she filled out half of the aftermeal survey herself. So I couldn’t fill it out authentically. But other than the server, the food and resturant was great.

I had not been to Olive Garden recently and typically a chain is not my preference, but it’s where my sister wanted to go. I’m glad we did because it was delicious! The service was great too. They have a fried shrimp appetizer right now that was great. Everything tasted really fresh. If you haven’t been in a while, give it a try!

Whenever I forget to take before-pictures, it’s either because I’m really hungry or the food looks amazing. This time, I was just really hungry.

The salad was disappointing—large chunks of lettuce, hardly any dressing, and it seemed like iceberg lettuce.

The chicken Alfredo was decent but could’ve used more seasoning.

On a positive note, the waiter was incredibly kind and patient.

If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. My wife and I sat at our table for 15 minutes and we hadn’t been greeted. Every table in our vicinity was filthy. I went to the bathroom, it was filthy. I left the bathroom and asked my wife if we had been greeted; no. We left instead of waiting for service. I felt gross being in the store. If they are so comfortable being filthy in the front of house, I can’t imagine the way the kitchen looks. Makes me scared for the people eating it. There’s probably bugs and mold on everything.
