We got carry out breakfast Saturday. It’s something we usually do a couple of times a month. I don’t think we’ll be coming back here again. The biscuits and gravy was biscuits and hot milk. We couldn’t even eat it.

Decent Dining Experience, went for lunch, had a burger. Service was very good, speedy and attentive. Friend had breakfast, crispy bacon, all served hot and fresh. Will come again!

This was our second time here. I wanted to love it because of the name and the “Best breakfast in Smithville” signs everywhere but it wasn’t great. I got the Philly cheese steak omelette with a side of hash browns. I asked for the hash browns extra crispy but the were far from that. They were actually not very crispy at all. Nothing was seasoned. It was a good thing there was salt and pepper at the table because the food needed it. The biscuit was nice and fluffy but the gravy tasted like it was packaged. The omelette was fine but not great. Not what I expected from “The best in Smithville”. It was just ok. If you’re in the area I recommend Patty’s instead. They aren’t spectacular but at least better than Son Rise.

Tasted great, and quality service. Waitress checked on me regularly without being too much. Great environment. The workers had Christian themed shirts on with Bible verses.
