Pho Kho (dry noodles) with chicken was good and flavorful. Garlic noodles with grilled shrimp was delicious but a bit pricey; more noodles would have been better for the price. Complimentary tapioca dessert was tasty.

Their pho ga is seriously a winner – so delicious! The soup boasts a rich and savory flavor that feels surprisingly healthy. A neat twist is that they serve the chicken on the side, which I decided to pop into my soup to warm up. And let’s not forget the fish sauce they hand over – perfect for some dipping action.
I also tried their pork and shrimp spring roll, and I’d absolutely give that a thumbs up too. They also have a special “Rosemead” menu, which I didn’t have a chance to try.
The dining room offers ample space, and the staff’s kindness and attentiveness really stand out. You’ll find Pho Dakao tucked inside The Square, and guess what? Parking won’t be a headache – there’s plenty of free parking available!

Love visiting Pho Kadao whenever we are in the area. The staff is always friendly and efficient. They offer chicken pho with fresh wide noodle, glass noodle or vermicelli; and many other dishes.

This unassuming restaurant in the entrance of a supermarket is a hidden gem. Found it looking for Bo Luc Lac in the LA area and found it via Instagram review than made me want to drive all the way from Long Beach and I was not disappointed, as they serve one of the better Luc Lac, tender and well balanced on sauce and pepper. Their medium is more well done than medium so adapt your request based on that.
The rest of the dishes are also very well executed, fresh and flavorful. The service is efficient and friendly while attentive.
Well worth a trip if you Are not close, you will not be disappointed.

Stumbled on this place by chance while walking in the area. The staff is very friendly. The food took a while to come out but was worth the wait. Fresh & thoughtfully prepared.
We had the bún thịt nướng chả giò. I added a fried egg which was also perfect! The pork was baked perfect & the egg roll was cut to perfect portions. The veggies were very fresh.
The mango smoothie was also good. We also ordered some egg rolls after. They were good. The sauce was especially great!
Only gripe was the wait, but the food was very good! Hope to come again.

Absolutely my fav chicken Pho ever! Flavorful and tasty broth, but can confirm that not walking chicken (cage free) tho. Nice clean restaurant and they’ve AC . The side sauce of Dry rice noodles was so good, yall have to try that one ☝️

I am so glad to see a clean and quality tasting restaurant opened up inside this shopping center.
I’ve been here twice, once for takeout and one for dine in. They serve mostly chicken dishes here. I ordered the chicken pho and it was very flavorful. I liked that you get to customize the type of chicken meat, e.g. breast, thigh, boneless, gizzards. I chose skinless and boneless for my pho and it was delicious. Dipping sauce was good too.
On my second visit, I ordered their other specialty, dry chicken pho. I liked the flavor, once you pour in the dressing/sauce the whole bowl turned into a mouthful of umami, a little bit of savory, sweet, tang, and a hint of spice.
The dry chicken pho is like a salad, lots of veggies and bean sprouts.
My cousin ordered the pork vermicelli, she said it was delicious.
Oh and I also ordered chicken porridge to try, it was authentic Vietnamese style porridge.
Everything was good. I’ll definitely go back.

This is my new to go place for Pho Ga (Chicken Pho) in the area! This is the new location, and they are originally from OC. They have one of the best Pho Ga places in OC. I love their broth and it hits the spot just like the homemade broth. This is the only place I will dink all the broth. The staffs are always super friendly and willing to make great recommendations on the menu. The Chicken Pho is around $13 as of Oct 2022 and it is very reasonable in the area. I will for sure try other items on the menu next time I stop by.
Quick tips: You won’t find beef Pho here! Pho Dakao is right next to the main entrance of GW Supermarket on the right-hand side.
