I went with friends and enjoyed my trip, but it’s hard to ignore the sheer price of everything.
We had the burger, buttermilk chicken sandwich, and loaded baked potato. The sandwich was great, the hot honey was super good. The fries were just ok, and the baked
We started with the crab dip, which was flavorful, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. I loved that it came with both crispy bread crostini and fresh cucumber slices — such a nice touch. For dinner, we had the braised short rib pasta, and it was even better than expected! The short rib was incredibly tender and the sauce was rich and delicious.
For dessert, we took a key lime pie to go — and wow! The slice was double the usual size and looked amazing, but it tasted even better — creamy, tangy, and perfectly balanced.
Our server, Stephone, was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Great food, great view, and great service — highly recommend Redstone American Grill if you’re in National Harbor!
Couldn’t be more pleased and the chicken plate I had phenomenal. The dishes my friends had phenomenal. Atmosphere was fantastic and the bathrooms were spotless. Very good experience while being affordable.
Our waitress was friendly and attentive, which made the experience more enjoyable. We ordered several appetizers: the spicy shrimp, spicy calamari, steak egg rolls, and the buffalo fried wings — all of which were good. The wings were definitely the crowd favorite!
I had the steak salad which was just ok. The kids ordered the chicken tenders with truffle fries, but unfortunately, none of them touched their tenders. They looked a bit off, and the texture wasn’t appealing — definitely a miss, which was a bummer for the little ones.
The seating was great — we had a lovely view overlooking the water, which really elevated the ambiance of our meal. Their meal presentation is also great!
Overall, while the experience had its high points, there’s definitely room for improvement in the food quality. If Redstone could take their dishes from “sometimes good” to consistently great, it would really elevate the dining experience.
