Easterbrook’s Hotdog Stand is an absolute Burlington gem and a place that truly deserves its legendary status. This iconic spot is almost 100 years old, having opened back in 1930, and it is incredible to see how it has been lovingly cared for by four generations of the same family. Walking inside feels like stepping into a living piece of local history, with every wall telling a story.
During my visit I had the chance to speak with the current owner, Blake, who was genuinely warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about preserving the spirit of this place while keeping customers happy. That personal touch makes the experience even more special.
The food is just as impressive as the history. The menu offers a fantastic variety of classic hot dogs, burgers, fries, shakes, and more, as you can see in the pictures. I went with the Wonder Dog and it was absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and incredibly satisfying.
Easterbrook’s is without a doubt a must stop on any Burlington trip, especially if you are nearby the Botanical Gardens. Great food, rich history, and friendly service make this a place you will want to come back to again and again.
By the way they also have a great loyalty card, don’t forget to ask for it

The counter staff were super friendly and helpful. Good prices, the wonder dog was my favorite. The vanilla milkshake was also delicious. The only thing I noticed was the floor inside the restaurant was warped, eventually it’s going to rot out and collapse. 4/5. Cute place for a quick bite.

The hot dog was fantastic! The bun was not too soft and not hard but definitely fresh. The food was hot. It was a cold day and cold inside. Limited space to sit. The staff were friendly. Worth a visit to such an iconic place. I took my friend she also loved it.

Saw this place on SM – made it a destination. If you like fine dining and haute cuisine, this place might NOT be for you, BUT if you’re looking for a fun / delicious / not-a-chain-restaurant / great for families & dates / unfussy hotdog experience, this is the place. PORK wieners – all footlong. Lots of themed dogs to choose from or customize your own. Buns are toasted. Fries are excellent – hot and crispy. Built in the 1930’s, a ’50’s feel has been preserved – lots of memorabilia to see on the walls. Dine at the bar or choose a booth – picnic tables outside. Plenty of parking on their gravel parking lot. Washrooms are clean, modern and beautifully decorated. Girls on the counter very friendly.

Visited Easterbrooks Hotdog Stand and had an awesome experience! The chili cheese dog was incredibly delicious — super flavorful, satisfying, and honestly one of the best classic hot dog spots around. The prices were great too, very affordable for the quality.
There was a bit of a line, but it moved fairly quickly and was definitely worth the wait. It’s a must-try for anyone who loves a good hot dog — classic, tasty, and budget-friendly. Easterbrooks absolutely delivers!

A classic spot that has stood the test of time for a reason. Always highly recommend going here if it’s in the area or on the way to come see a piece of history. But also to get a delicious hotdog or milkshake. Maybe both if you’re feeling hungry.

This is definitely a piece of history!!! My 1st time, won’t be my last. Went for the Chicago Slider Footlong, will try different one’s next time. Roughly 25 or so different dogs to choose from, great menu along with cheeseburgers, fries, shakes etc… Young Lad serving us was very friendly. Not a lot of places to sit, be patient as you are served fast and seats do come available.

Kind staff, fast service, delicious food, one of a kind. Lost some change in the cool arcade machine but the staff just gave it to me back no questions asked. What a nice gesture.

Sept 22/25 The family went for ice cream cones on a warm, sunny day.
All three flavours we tried were delicious; the size was generous too!
We sat outside on the red picnic tables.
The only thing we felt is that it could’ve been cleaner; a wipe down of the glass and tables.

The food was delicious. Huge portions. Decent price. Tucked away by the RBG. Very small dining area, just a few booths but tons of great outdoor seating. The staff were nice and the decor was super cool. Huge selection of ice cream and the scoops were huge and fresh. I didn’t really like the chocolate but that’s personal preference. Not the coziest seating but it’s clearly iconic. Had a great time!
