Had the fish curry, which was my first time and it was a great choice.
I also got the OGA drink which was pressed natural fruits (Orange, Ginger, Apple).
I had a team dinner which went well and there was plenty of space for us – a table of 6.
The location is right by the road side opposite the University Arms; easily accessible for those using the bus.
There’s no parking there, but you could explore parkers piece with some luck, or go some minutes walk away to park at the multi-storey parking lot at the parkside pool.
Took a while and a second reminder before I could get my drink, hence the 4-stars on service
They serve it every week day from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., with a nice variety of small dishes. The portions are on the smaller side (even the samosa was tiny compared to other places I’ve been), but everything was super tasty and flavorful.
The service was very nice, the atmosphere welcoming, and I think the price was very fair for the quality. I’d definitely return and highly recommend it if you’re in Cambridge looking for a satisfying lunch.
Regardless of the items you order, you can expect high-quality and the price points are excellent value when you take into account the ambience and wonderful service!
Special mention to Sruthish who always takes excellent care of us when we’re here!
It took them ages to present the bill, almost as if they were disinterested and the service was very slow – to the point that we could have easily walked off without paying at all. We went to the main counter section and then requested for the card machine so that we could pay and leave.
Moreover, the Malai Kofta was undercooked – could taste the raw batter to an extent, so that was disappointing as well.
This has been me and my wife’s favourite go-to place in Cambridge for a long time, but after tonight, we were sorely disappointed with our overall experience.
Staff were very friendly too. I would definitely return if I was next in the area. It looks small from the outside but there was lots of space inside and is child friendly with plenty of high chairs.
There is street parking (paid) outside as well as some streets nearby with free parking outside.
