WOW!!! Everything was spot on! Steak was tender and cooked to order, scrambled eggs were fluffy and moist, has browns were mixed with extra crispy edges…but the topper is the cinnamon roll. Best I have had since I can remember. If you want a great meal in a friendly atmosphere and not break the bank, this is worth the drive!

I went for the chicken fried steak and their famous gravy. The CFS was all right, the scrambled eggs were OK, but the gravy was slightly sweet and I wasn’t the biggest fan. The hash browns were the best thing on the plate. They broke the cardinal rule though, never nuke the biscuits! “Chef Mike” makes a formerly fresh biscuit a dense dry disaster. I would definitely give this place another chance, all the food seemed fresh and the waitress was nice. I’ll just try something else.

I ate breakfast with my wife today. Everything was great. I had eggs baccon and hash browns. My wife had a similar breakfast. But the lighter version. The coffee was strong and is great coffee. I will definitely eat here again.

Nice local restaurant with a great menu and delicious food. The new paint and recent work done all looked great. Staff was very friendly and polite and were great about checking if we needed anything often. All the basics you would hope for in terms if breakfast, lunch and dinner options and the food came out quickly. I got the prime rib scramble and my daughter got the French toast with strawberries and whipped cream and we were both extremely happy with the dishes! Great prices as well. We will be back and I definitely recommend giving them a try!

This was my third time visiting. The first two visits were excellent great food and great service. Unfortunately, this time was not the same experience.
I had to ask for coffee and water refills, and service was very slow, even though there were only two other tables seated. One waitress spent most of her time chatting with a table while asking the other waitress to focus on stocking, and neither checked in on us or offered refills without being asked. I ordered a simple breakfast of eggs over easy with bacon and hash browns. The bacon was overcooked, and the hash browns, which I had asked to be well done, were still soft and a bit mushy. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and enjoyed them, though I personally found them a little sweet. Overall, the food wasn’t terrible, but compared to my previous visits, it was disappointing. The last two times, even when the restaurant was busier, both the service and food were a solid 10/10. I’m not sure what has changed, but I hope the focus shifts back to attentive service and consistent quality. A little less time talking about crafts and personal hobbies, and a little more attention to customers, would go a long way

Awesome food! Amazing service! And the place is so welcoming now! I ordered the horseback burger… which is like a rodeo burger on steroids. Bf ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and the recipe they use is real Italian! Found the orange slice! Definitely recommend, and we will be regular customers now.

We took a break from the Polk County fair to have dinner here. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was made well and very delicious (we had burgers and pancakes) prices are reasonable and portions are large. Overall it’s a good wholesome family atmosphere!
