Vine in the Village is hands down our favorite restaurant and bar. The wine selection is phenomenal, and the food never disappoints. We love the live music and open mic nights—there’s always great entertainment! Some of our favorites to catch are Stan Wayne, Chris Boss, and the Just 4 Fun Band.
The pretzel and cheese dip pair perfectly with any of their wines, and the stuffed avocados are my personal favorite! This has become our go-to spot at least once a week. Great vibes, great food, great people!

My first time here on a midweek date. The ambiance was wonderful, a wine bar with a cozy feel, couches and tables in one area and tables and chairs in another. There was also a rustic bar at the entrance. The staff were friendly and attentive as well. We were there to hear a singer/songwriter named Jim Hartwell … he did not disappoint! We had a cozy evening enjoying wine and pizza in a most unexpected place. I highly recommend this establishment and look forward to returning.

My favorite place for Wine any day of the week! My Wife and I are on their wine club which is totally worth it. Staff is fantastic, music is awesome (Open Mic Nights are the best!) and food is delicious!

Horrible customer service. I’ve had a better service at Wendy’s. Which staff paid more attention to someone bringing a puppy to the bar. I had to hunt down our waitress, not once not twice but three times Two of the wines that we wanted to try, we’re out of stock, even though they were on the menu Don’t waste your money there are two other wine bars, right down the street that actually care about their clientele.

Now, this is a place worth a thousand words. Great light atmosphere during the early lunch through early dinner and then it gets very lively for the evening rush for the wine and beer lovers.
Compliments to Tim and Matt for their wonderful generosity and hospitality. They both were very knowledgeable about the menu and the accommodations of Vine in the Village.

Impromptu dinner plans and headed to @vineinthevillage to check it out. Happy hour was until 6:30pm and we made it for a couple of drinks.
My husband tried the Alex Pilsner draft from New Braunfels and really enjoyed it. I had a glass of house Pinot Noir. My husband had the Wedge Salad which he shared with Dad and me. Very fresh! Overall, the food was good but don’t expect big portions of food. Small tapa plates. We had the Crab Cakes, Hummus Plate, Brisket Pizza and the Philly Cheesesteak. The crab cakes were overpriced and over salted. I would give it 3 stars. The brisket pizza and cheesesteak were tasty. @ginosdeli need not worry. We had the Chocolate Truffles for dessert. The middle was cakey and warm. Dad didn’t want his so I’ll have the last one with coffee in the morning!
Thursday night is open mic night. It could be really good or not. It was just getting started as we ended our meal so can’t really fully weigh in.
There were outdoor seating but the ones available were high tops which would’ve been difficult for Dad to sit up.
They have wine memberships available for those who want to frequently stop by for wine.

We have been wine club members here since 2017 and love it as our local date night spot! The meat and cheese board and the Gyro pizza are our favorites for dinner! We recently went for lunch and were so impressed. I ordered the Green Goddess Chicken Burger, and my husband had the brisket sandwich which he devoured before I could get a picture. Both were excellent! I loved the jalapeño bun. We love our local wine bar and now have a new lunch spot for us!

Recently went here and was pleasantly surprised. We were seated right away and treated very well by the manager, Bobbi Jo. We ordered a 2 meat pizza and a Bulverde Cheese steak. Both were delicious. We were also treated to some great local artists, as we happened to go on “open mic night”. We will definitely be back!
