My wife discovered this charming restaurant, and we decided to try several of their signature dishes. We started with their special sweet and mango-flavored lassi, both perfectly chilled and expertly blended with real fruit. We also ordered jal zerra, papad with spicy chutney, and crunchy papdi chaat, which were each served with generous portions and balanced flavors. For the main course, we enjoyed hara bhara kabab, Malai Kofta with its creamy gravy, and masala fish that was cooked to perfection. We also savored spicy, tangy kukkad (chicken) cooked with chilis and garlic naan, along with fluffy zeera (cumin) rice. Every dish was served with satisfying portion sizes, and the overall taste was outstanding, reflecting authentic Punjabi culinary traditions.
The food was absolutely delicious — bursting with authentic Punjabi flavours, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. Each dish reflected true Punjabi tradition, with rich spices and generous portions that really stood out.
Overall, it’s one of the best Punjabi restaurants in the area. Highly recommended for anyone craving genuine Punjabi cuisine with top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back!
The warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home.
Staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly.
We were a group of 5—family and friends—celebrating my husband’s birthday.
They even decorated the cake with a beautiful flower arch, which was such a cute and thoughtful touch!
The food was absolutely delicious, packed with authentic Punjabi flavors.
Each dish was perfectly cooked, full of rich spices, and beautifully presented.
Portion sizes were generous, and the quality of ingredients really stood out.
It’s definitely one of the best places for Punjabi food in the area.
Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back for more!
Only thing that can be bit changed is the Music, which should be Punjabi !
We ordered palak paneer, but what was served to us did not look like palak paneer at all. There was no proper palak color or texture. The taste was completely off. I am posting a picture with this review, so everyone can see for themselves and decide if this dish can really be called palak paneer.
The taste of the food was horrible. Nothing felt fresh or authentic. The curry was confusing, overly sweet, and had no proper Punjabi flavor at all.
We also ordered sweet lassi, but it was extremely sweet, almost like sugar syrup. It did not taste good and was impossible to enjoy with food.
On top of that, a girl working there kept forcing us to order more items even though we clearly said we were done. It felt very uncomfortable. She mentioned that the owner teaches staff to push customers to order more, which is very unprofessional and annoying. Customers should not be pressured while eating.
Overall, the food quality, taste, and service were very poor. We spent our money expecting a good Punjabi dinner and left completely dissatisfied. This place does not justify the prices or the name it carries.
I would not recommend Raunka Punjab to anyone looking for authentic Punjabi food or a comfortable dining experience. There are many better options out there.
The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was vibrant, authentic, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and the passion behind the cooking.
The decor and atmosphere are also worth mentioning. The restaurant has a lively, colourful Punjabi vibe that makes it feel warm and inviting. The music, lighting, and overall ambience create a great energy that makes the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, it was a wonderful evening with great service, fantastic food, and a brilliant atmosphere. Huge thanks again to Mahek, Bali and Gurjeet for making our visit so memorable. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lively Punjabi dining experience!
The owner and chef, the wonderful lady Gurjit is by far one of the most amazing people I have had the pleasure of meeting. She always finds time to come to greet me and my family and makes sure that food is cooked to perfection . I have food intolerance (gluten and dairy) so she always checks and adjusts meals to suit my stomach. Thank you
Today we were looked after by a lovely lady called Balli, who is a beautiful young lady and her service was very professional and friendly. She made sure we were taken care of and well looked after.
Thank you both very much for a lovely evening.
The food is delicious, generous portions, made to order, served hot and with great care.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys true Punjabi food that exuberates vibrant flavours and is rich in spices and beautifully presented on your plate.
I shall be back again soon.
