Nice Mexican restaurant with a nice outdoor sitting area. We had the standard dishes consisting of tacos, burritos and taco salad, etc. Everything was pretty good. The service was nice. The outdoor sitting has a little creek alongside of it and a few ducks were hanging around. They came up to beg for food so that was fun.

The atmosphere was amazing. So nice to sit outside and eat. They’re were ducks and little critters. The server was really nice too. The food was just awful though. I got chili rellano, they were wrapped in wonton wrappers which were raw ,the cheese wouldn’t even melt Even after microwaving it later. The enchiladas sauce was smokey. The shredded beef was good though and the queso not to bad. The building inside was also pretty gross so it concerns me if they don’t put pride in the things customers see what is the kitchen like. But it’s definitely an atmosphere place to get some drinks and maybe some appz

Hard to beat this restaurant when it comes to atmosphere, assuming you sit outside. There is a little creek that runs along the restaurant and adds a nice background noise that helps blend in the other chatter from the restaurant. The outdoor seating is also well covered so you won’t be in direct sunlight, and we happened to have a nice cool breeze as well. The food was decent, but there are other Mexican places I have enjoyed better, but my wife really enjoyed hers.

Whenever I am in Colorado springs this is the first place I go! It is usually the start of my trip and a happy ending. I think the food is the best in Mexican food in the United States. I usually get where you get three items. Then I can sample different items. The enchiladas are superb one of the best I’ve found are there green sauces amazing. To start the dinner the chips and salsa are a big highlight. Everyone at the table loved them and we all admit that we ate too many they are that good ❤️ this visit many of the family got the traditional bean burritos which they rated A+. I got a taco with shredded beef which is always fantastic, hot, shredded beef is out of this world especially good my last item was a tamale and it was also exceptional. I enjoy that everything is served it’s really hot the beans and rice are some of the best I’ve ever had in the United States. The service is always excellent I have never had a bad waiter or waitress. I would give the wait staff a six star but you don’t have that rating! Whether you come for dinner or lunch this Mexican food restaurant is a bargain, prices are more than reasonable the food is worth every penny!!! A wonderful time with the whole family here for the holiday season and a dinner we will never forget!!!

I’m visiting Colorado Springs and wanted authentic food. A friend recommended Amanda’s Cantina and Fonda. It is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants with great food & great service. I had the chilli releno & chicken enchilada. It came with cole slaw, beans & rice. I also had a strawberry margarita. Dinner came with chips & the most awesome salsa ever! Rosa was my waitress. She gave me great suggestions & the service was awesome. She was attentive & very sweet. I sat on the patio by the stream. My visit was exceptional. I highly recommend Amanda’s for great service, great food & reasonable prices.

Chimichanga with chili Verde and I ordered a frozen blackberry marg, and it came like this, with a swirl, not what I expected. It was really noisy and food and drinks seemed to be much better in the past. It was ok.

Amanda’s used to be one of our favorite destinations when visiting the Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs area but it has really slipped in the past couple of visits. When we arrived we waited so long to be seated my wife finally went to go find someone. And the food quality just isn’t the same; the prices are somewhat higher, understandably, but also the portions are significantly smaller. It’s pleasant to sit on the patio by the creek as you dine but you don’t just pay for atmosphere, you also pay to have a decent meal. I had the cheese enchilada and relleno but both (especially the enchilada) were somewhat tough and difficult to cut. I don’t care for cole slaw in any form but forgot to tell the server to leave it off, so that’s my bad. The best part of the meal, for me, were the beans and rice. Oh, and my wife – again – had to go find our server so we could pay the check. I think this place needs to hire more people. That would certainly help customer service, maybe hiring a different cook might help food quality. Who knows.

The star is for the beautiful Scenery behind the patio. But overall the food was not to our liking. My husband ordered chicken fajitas. The veggies and chicken seemed to had been soaked in tomato juice. Very bland and the cast-iron was not even sizzling when they brought it out to him. I ordered Arroz con pollo. The rice was way over cooked but also, it was soaked in tomato water. I asked to add jalapeño with out the seeds and they used pickled jalapeños. The chips were hard and stale. The salsa was like they chopped chunks of onion and added it to canned tomatoes. They never came back to ask if we wanted a drink refill, even after serving our meals. Overall, I wouldn’t ever go back, worst $50 spent on Vacation. But beautiful view..

Great Mexican food after a trip to Pikes Peak! Service was great, pricing was fair and food was excellent. Red enchilada sauce was fantastic and the chicken tostada was something I should have ordered 2 of.
