I definitely had the meat sweats after this place but it was well worth it.
The lineup was all star
“Flame grilled beef, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage “. I saw a photo of lamb chops in other reviews but I didn’t try any.
The salad was sublime, the mashed potatoes were devine and the meat, was heavenly.
I was less impressed with the desserts, just too rich.
The turtle cheesecake and the bananas foster won that round.
I definitely recommend and will definitely be returning soon.
We arrived with our toddler, and right off the bat, the wait to get seated dragged on way longer than it should have. No highchair was available when we finally sat down, so we were left juggling a squirmy kid while trying to get settled. Once we were at the table, the whole gaucho experience felt more frustrating than fun. They seemed to be holding back on the premium cuts— we waited roughly 40 minutes before anything really good like the filet mignon or picanha made it around.
And when those premium meats finally started showing up, the servers had this clear attitude, like we were inconveniencing them just by being there—little eye rolls, sighs, the works. We had to ask multiple times for the specific cuts we wanted, and each request meant explaining it all over again to a different person. It felt like begging for what we paid a premium for. The salad bar was solid as always, and the food that did arrive tasted fine, but by then we were too frustrated and hangry to fully enjoy it—especially with a toddler in tow.
Service was polite on the surface but painfully slow overall, like they forgot about our table half the time. For the price they’re charging, you’d expect better flow, more enthusiasm from the staff, and actual accommodations for families. If this is how it’s been running for years without fixing these basics, we won’t be rushing back anytime soon.
I’ve been here now 4 times and the other 3 experiences were great. I won’t be back after this encounter. Spend your money at the Cheesecake Factory.
The food at the cold and hot stations was my favorite part of our meal! The variety of choices, flavor profiles, and fresh ingredients was terrific! There was a huge selection of meats that were brought around, and plenty of it! The portions were generous but I would have liked smaller amounts so there wouldn’t be so much waste. I often asked for a “tiny” piece but they did not seem to understand or comprehend that I really only wanted to taste! I’m sure those with a healthy appetite would have been thrilled.
Those biscuits with the cheese that they bring to the table, sort of blow your mind!
I wish there were more clear paths to get to the stations.
The pathway to the restroom is awful. You have to walk next to the bar to get to the hallway where the bathrooms are. If someone is seated at the bar, it is extremely difficult to maneuver around them because it is also near the food stations.
Finally, bad marks for the restroom! It was not well kept, there was toilet paper on the floor, one stall did not have toilet paper, the sink was a mess, etc. The bathrooms at the Sheetz gas stations are nicer!
All in all, this was a terrific experience. Thank you
Unfortunately, the service at the entrance was very disappointing. The male host with red hair who was wearing a suit was quite unpleasant. He gave the impression that he truly did not care whether we decided to dine there or not. The interaction felt cold and unwelcoming, which created discomfort right from the start. Because of this first impression, we immediately wanted to leave, and it left a negative feeling that stayed with us throughout the visit.
This was especially frustrating because I was very polite and respectful, and I personally work in a customer-service environment, so I understand how important a proper greeting and attitude are.
That said, the food was delicious, everything looked beautiful and well presented, and the servers with the skewers were kind, friendly, and professional. They did a great job and helped improve the experience.
However, a poor welcome at the entrance can significantly affect the overall experience, and unfortunately, that was the case for us. A warmer and more attentive greeting would make a big difference.
