Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I got the offer for the free three chicken strips upon order a medium fry and drink. I decided to upgrade my option to Large bc I was feeling quite peckish. I did an online order bc I needed to be back to work manning my station bc I’m the only one at my location. The estimated time was 11:50-11:56… So I made my way over and waited in the seat for my order to be done. I got quite frustrated by the lack of communication between the team members and was surprised to see that the big wigs were in and yet here I sat with no order in hand until 12:06. The poor guy working the register checked in the order for me and I could see he was making an effort and it paid off bc I left with not three but six strips, two fries and three gravies! They may have messed up on times, but they most certainly cared and did their best to make it up and I will def be coming back to raid their binz! 9/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Its efforts like this that let customers know that you do care about business and keeping it. Thanks, Whataburger for always trying your best and delivering great food!

I went to the drive thru. The associate ask for my order. I said “Two chorizo, egg and cheese taquitos and a honey butter chicken biscuit please”. The guy replied ” uh… 2 potato taquitos?”. I said NO… I said Two chorizo, egg and cheese taquitos and a honey butter chicken biscuit… are you listening?. Uh yes sir… we got it.
No they didn’t get it. I received one taquito and a biscuit. They didn’t listen… the service was terrible and in the end they acted like I was an asshole. My experience sucked.

Slow service!! Looked like they were understaffed but they always look understaffed!! The line was long app we went inside – we’d have been better off waiting in line!!

The food was great as whataburger should be, no complaints on it 5/5. Our issues stand from the wait. It was easily a 25 min wait. Now was the food good? Yes. But a 25 min wait for a burger just seems a little much. This was the drive thru by the way. So i would recommend this place, but I would online order instead of in person so you don’t have to wait so long.

When I pulled up at this restaurant they had a line almost to the street. I went inside because I thought it would be faster but I end up waiting at least 20 minutes before I even got my order. When I left there was no one in drive-thru which made me believe that they took care of drive-thru all completely before they started on anyone in the lobbies order whoever management is priorities need to be adjusted because you need to take care of the customers inside as well as the customers in the Drive-Thru no one should have to wait completely till you clear out your drive-thru to get served

I went at 1pm for lunch. It was still busy, but the wait was only 2 minutes. Service was great! Food was fresh. I had the chili cheese burger and it was the best chili cheese burger I have ever had! Delicious chili and crisp fritos on the burger! I had to get some to take home for lunch the rest of the week! The white chocolate Raspberry shake was really tasty as well!

The staff here is horrible here. We asked for extra sauce and would’ve paid for it but they wouldn’t because they didn’t know how to put it in the computer system and said they would give it to us complementary. Cool. Then, We were asked to pull forward in the drive through before we received our order. When it came out the order was wrong and missing the items we had talked about. We walked in to get it corrected and the staff became agitated. They followed us out and confronted us in our car. We were finally able to receive our full order but, in the end, it was such a bad experience. Not worth going back.
