We ordered Cajun shrimp and crab cake sandwiches. The shrimps were way too salty but the crab cakes were chunky and good. The restaurant is dated and very cold , you’ll need your coats while eating.

The food was okay overall, and the appetizer was the best part. One of us ordered the broiled seafood combo (not pictured, you’ll understand why in the rest of the post), but the waitress accidentally brought the scallop dish instead. Mistakes happen, and we were fine with that.
What bothered us was how it was handled. She took the plate away, and after about 10 minutes, she returned with the same dish—but with three scallops removed—and by then it was cold. She said the rest of the combo would come later. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal didn’t arrive until everyone else was already finished. By then, we were ready to leave, and the flounder that was part of the combo was very thin and underwhelming.
For the price we paid, we expected a much better experience. We left very disappointed.
I want to point out that our waitress was nice, but we wish the situation would have been handled differently. We didn’t complain about anything with her because she was kind.

My husband and I have been wanting to go to this restaurant for quite a while and today we decided to stop in. Unfortunately I wish we hadn’t. I ordered the Louisiana style shrimp po boy and my husband had the crab soup and crab cakes. My sandwich was nothing special and the fries were not good. My husband’s soup and crab cakes had so many shells in it that it became a distraction to eat it. When I asked the waitress if it was normal to have so many shells she told me it was, because the crabmeat was fresh. I have eaten at several seafood establishments where there has not nearly been as many shells. Later that night I called the restaurant and asked to talk with a manager or owner and I spoke with the owners son who was rude and very stand off ish. We will not be returning. Luckily in DE we have several other choices for fresh food restaurants to spend our hard earned money at.

We stopped on our way home from the Beach. Seating inside had a wait, but outside Seating was available. We were under a patio roof and it was a great day to be outside. The bugs weren’t bad just a few Flys. Our waitress did a great job and the food was very good. Definitely recommend.

The oysters weren’t cleaned properly. Removed a lot of gunk that should have been filtered out using some clear water. My daughter’s jambalaya had a random fry in it. We were all grossed out by the roach fogger left in the middle of the waiting area for the rest room and decided not to eat anymore.
Update 6 hours later: I experienced symptoms of food poisoning.

What a fantastic experience all the way around. This place is a must stop. It checks off all of the categories. The outstanding service. The outstanding food. The outstanding atmosphere. The outstanding parking. Outstanding! Our visit started with the genuine cheerful and helpful staff. Our servers Brandon and Courtney are great representatives of this restaurant. They were quick, efficient, and informative. This being our first visit they answered all of our questions with a smile. Everything we ordered was not only superb but was also brought out amazingly quick and hot. You must try the Cream of Crab. Amazing flavor and definitely home made with real crab chunks. The crab cakes were delicious and mostly crab meat unlike many other restaurants where they are made mostly of bread crumbs. There is a full bar with seating indoors and outdoors. A very big plus is that they are super dog friendly. They even have a dog menu. The dog’s food is served on a frisbee which is yours to keep as well. Don’t worry about parking. They got it covered with ample parking. So my overall rating is that this must be a definite stop when heading to Rehoboth.

We went here on a recommendation from family on the soup. My boyfriend had the cream chowder soup. It was way salty. I had the Maryland chowder. Lacked flavor and the cup was about 4 oz for $6.99. Ridiculous but ok. Then he had the Seafood club which was actually tasty. The fries were good also (hence the 2 star rating). But the waitresses forgot the Cole slaw…repeatedly. It finally came at the end of our meal but only bc he reminded her. I had the tuna tacos that were underwhelming and flavorless. The tortillas were large flour, which I prefer over corn but there was too much tortilla and not enough seasoning. And then there were the flies. The flies surrounded our table and were everywhere. It was gross and menacing. If not for the cordial and friendly staff or sandwich and fries, we would have given it 1 star.

I have been seeing this restaurant for a while, but never stopped in until now. From the outside, it’s pretty basic and doesn’t look like anything special. We decided to take my dad there for Father’s Day since he loves seafood. My whole family was extremely impressed with the place. Due to high volume in clientele, we had to sit outside, which was not bad. Our family had food ranging from fried oysters, fish, crab meat, and burgers. The food was delicious, and the prices were not bad. The server was nice, and the atmosphere was good. Will definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommended if you like a good variety of seafood.
