Outback Steakhouse delivered a mixed but overall positive experience, largely because of the outstanding service. Maddie truly went above and beyond and made the visit feel welcoming from start to finish. She was attentive without hovering, checked in at the right moments, and handled everything with a friendly, professional attitude. Service like that makes a noticeable difference and elevates the entire meal.
The food was generally solid, but not without a hiccup. The French onion soup was unfortunately far too salty, to the point where it distracted from the flavors rather than enhancing them.
Aside from that, the overall atmosphere was comfortable and familiar, which is what Outback does well. It’s a reliable place for a casual meal, especially when paired with excellent service. Thanks to Maddie’s effort and professionalism, the experience remained positive despite the food issue. With a bit more consistency in the kitchen, it would have been a great visit all around.

We recently enjoyed a delightful dining experience. We selected the filet mignon and lobster entree, accompanied by a Caesar salad and French onion soup. Our companion chose the renowned bone-in ribeye steak, served with a baked potato and house salad. Each dish was exceptionally flavorful and met our expectations. The warm cookies and ice cream dessert, drizzled with chocolate caramel sauce, provided a perfect conclusion to our meal. We extend our sincere gratitude to the chef and the entire service team for curating a truly fabulous and enjoyable luncheon. We anticipate returning to your establishment more frequently.

As soon as we sat Jazmine was at our table with a smile. We could tell she was busy with a large party and 6 other tables that we could see. She walked us through the specials and answered any question we asked of her. She was very attentive and we never had to ask for refills. Even though she was busy we never felt rushed . I have to say as a fellow server I was impressed. And I would definitely stop by this location and ask for her again. The food was cooked perfectly and the Sa was very nice and on top of it. Thank you Jazmine for the great lunch experience..We will definitely ask for you every time we come this way for our transplant doctor visits at Tampa General… Jason and Alana

Did takeout last night and it was the worst experience at any Outback, ever. I arrived on-time to pick up my meal, when I arrived home (5-10 mins away), the prime rib ordered medium was well done, and barely lukewarm. They would never served this in the restaurant, never.

Rotten broccoli, first plate food was literally cold to the touch, not room temp, COLD. 2nd try… rotten broccoli and overcooked and dry filet (tried to eat it because I hate wasting food). Not edible.

Birthday dinner. My plate was excellent, and so was my father’s. However, My mother’s plate, which was a filet mignon, was terribly grainy and slightly overcooked from the requested medium rare to a medium well. Our waitress was handling a large party at the same time, but it got to a point where we were waiting for her return for over 30 minutes (I set a stopwatch 10 minutes in).
The filet mignon was returned for a replacement, which this time was excellent. Flavor on everything else was wonderful. However, we were charged for two steaks in her case.
I will admit, whenever we had an issue, it was fixed. For example, the second charge was refunded. For this reason, where I would normally implement an exceptionally poor score, I raised it to 4 stars for good quality, as all issues were addressed in a reasonable manner.

We picked up food after church today. The food was hot and wrapped in such a way that nothing could leak out on other foods. It came out 10 minutes faster than projected after I ordered it. We all enjoyed our food!

Outback do better 45 mins for the chicken that should have had cheese bacon and mushrooms and I get what looked like a chicken nuggets with one crumb of mushroom and no bacon. Yea this is on a side plate and yes this is prob about less 3 ozs of chicken.

We love the cocktails and steaks! Plant city locals and we attend frequently. Try the smoked bourbon it’s amazing! The restaurant is usually full of happy likeminded guest and clean bathrooms!
