Nice cozy little coffee shop. It had a good vibe, good people working here.
They do have hot food for breakfast, but it is practically hidden on like a single 8.5×11 piece of paper by the register. Don’t know why it isn’t larger with everything else.
In any event they’ve got grab-and-go stuff hot and ready which is super convenient if you’ve got stuff to do and just need to grab a coffee and bite to eat while starting your day!

I love the coffee and tea-fantastic! The ambience is ok although nothing special. There’s a very small amount of seating and it is uncomfortable seating. Also there is a very marked difference between how locals get treated by the staff and how the rest of us get treated. I was hoping the first time I came that it was a fluke, but no. I’ve come enough times to know that it isn’t and it wasn’t just me. Everyone who wasn’t an obvious resident got a cold shoulder. If this review was based purely on service, it would have gotten 1 star. But again, GREAT coffees & teas.

I’ve gone through two loyalty cards here. (I know ball.) The drinks are usually great! They don’t have a burnt taste and their matcha is wonderful! However, these are some of the rudest and coldest people in town. It doesn’t matter how polite and how often I come here. Every single time, they do their best to make it seem like they hate me and their jobs. It really ruins the energy and morning vibes of getting a good coffee.

I have been going to this coffee shop since elementary school. The coffee is the best coffee in town. The vanilla lattes are so good it should be studied. The most consistent thing in this town.

Best coffee in town! Their cappuccino is always delicious and this is my go to spot for coffee beans. The huehuetenango is my personal favorite, and I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve gotten here. The burritos are great and the gf almond muffins are phenomenal!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this coffee shop. First, the people are excellent, always greeted with a smile! Second, the coffee is excellent. Love their selection of their coffee beans too! Take a bag home, promise you won’t be disappointed. Then, there is a pastry shop right next door..and ohhhh are they just so so freaking good!
This is how you have your coffee in Durango. Did I mention the views?!? Just come on by and see for yourself.

81301 Coffee House and Roasters, is to die for!! Locals were walking in, driving in, motel patrons hit this place, too. Very laid back friendly vibe! I walked in & was about eighth in line, but their efficiency had me in & out in minutes. Great caramel macchioto! A locally owned, neighborhood Starbucks style shop, but HALF the price!

We greatly enjoyed our visit to 81301! I tried a vanilla latte and it was delicious. The shop itself was very nice with a good amount of seating, and the staff were very friendly. We also got pastries from the adjoining shop, and they were amazing. I would recommend 81301 Coffee House to anyone looking for a good latte in Durango!

*Coffee is five star* 81301 has the BEST tasting coffee in town.
I buy bags of beans from here as well and I do not know who does the graphics for the bags, but they are terrible. Beer cans, skulls, goat heads…. Also, the staff can be hit and miss.
