Evergrain is such a wonderful staple in the Chestertown community! From their delicious lattes and coffee to their exquisite baked goods and baguettes.
My personal faves are their Sun Buns and Buzz Bars but I also love their croissants, cookies and muffins – really anything I’ve tried!
On a Saturday you may see a line out the door and for good reason! Don’t let that deter you, it does quickly and is worth the short wait!

Stopped here with wife and daughter while shopping in Chestertown. We had coffees, a piece of cake and a muffin. All were excellent. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather and our goodies. We had been here previously and remembered the excellent service and bread treats, so we made sure we returned. 5 stars all the way around.

Long line but worth it if you have the time to wait. I got the turkey hand pie and it was SOOO good. The lattes are really good too but way too light, don’t taste like coffee, so just get an extra shot and it’s perfect :). The pastries are really good.

Best baguettes & actual espresso on the shore that I know of. Probably want to show up between 10am to 12pm for the most availability of goodies, I’ve made the mistake of showing up before the baguettes are done..boo hooh. Odd vibe though, I have either come right after, had to wait outside because of, or seen people kicked out on numerous occasions. For what, no clue, but being a city boy I rarely saw that anywhere in my entire life and I’ve lived in some rough spots so the atmosphere gets a low score.

Stopped in while passing through. So glad we did. Thankfully it was late in the afternoon. Otherwise we would have bought so much more. We tried to bring home a seeded baguette. It was far too good to make it for the half hour journey. Definitely delicious. I noticed they have outdoor seating. This is a plus as we won’t have to leave the pup in the car. I must add the young lady behind the counter was a delight. I hope she tries the cream cheese/ red pepper jelly combo. Can’t wait to pass by again. We might even make it a special morning trip.

I love visiting coffee shops and Evergrain didn’t disappoint. We’re here for a few days and have been in twice. We got an almond milk latte hot and one on ice, no flavors we both like our coffee without anything competing with the flavor of the coffee. They were robust and smooth, very well done. Each time the staff were very friendly. My husband enjoyed a pastry and said it was wonderful. I’m gluten free so no pastry for me, but I had my coffee.

Words can’t express how much I love this place. Small town vibes, high school kids working the counter, delicious pastries and the best iced matcha latte I’ve found in Maryland. Try the lavender iced matcha latte, everknots (addicting), and sun buns! I also liked my breakfast sandwich but wish it had some kind of veggie or avocado in it.

Wow!! I bought a box of a variety of their baked goods and everything was phenomenal! The croissants were excellent (especially the everything bagel seasoned one with a dollop of cream cheese!). The Americano coffee was good and the service was terrific. Also in a super cute part of town. Will definitely return when in the area.
