McMullan’s Irish Pub is an absolute gem!

We ordered the Coast Road Inn Fish & Chips, and even though I normally don’t care for fried foods, this quickly became my favorite dish, perfectly crisp, fresh, and surprisingly light. Nanny Mac’s Shepherd’s Pie was warm, cozy, and delicious, served with hearty brown bread that made the dish even better.

We also tried the Homemade Crisps, which were a nice light appetizer with tasty Marie Rose and curry sauces. For dessert, the Sticky Toffee Pudding had a wonderful bread-pudding, like texture and just the right sweetness. And you must try their famous Irish Coffee, the cream on top was whipped to absolute perfection.

Everything tasted fresh, clean, and high-quality. The service was excellent too, very welcoming, and our server was incredibly knowledgeable. A fun pub with great food and great vibes. Highly recommend!

Came here when friends were visiting from out of town. Service was pretty good. There was one point where I wondered if we were going to be checked on for beverages, but for the most part, our server was good. Atmosphere is awesome. Can get a little loud with sporting events but it’s not that bad.
As for the food…it was pretty good. The three that were with me enjoyed what they ordered. I got the corned beef sandwich, and it was dry. Hardly any mustard. I didn’t really taste much of it at all, so if you order it, get an extra side of mustard.
Wouldn’t prevent me from returning to try something different.

Lovely old pub with lots of footy memorabilia especially for the Red Men. Prices very reasonable especially Guinness. A great menu of pub grub, home from home cooking and then some. Separate area to watch the match amongst footy fans. Busy place for the big games. Ross and team made everyone welcome and table service was a huge bonus.

A very authentic Irish pub inside and out. Our server Jennifer C was fantastic. We stopped in for a couple of drinks and a quick appetizer. The Irish Nachos were delicious.

4 star purly off the Shepherds Pie. Me and the homie will make our own for the holidays so we are going around testing Shepherds Pies. Mc Mullans is our first try for they seem to have the most popular pie in the city. Personally wasn’t that bad but you can tell it was mostlikly pan fried the lamb/stew filling, mash potatoes on top then thrown under a salamander to melt the cheese. We were expecting baked from all the videos we watched online with the crisp layer of mashed potatoes, however probably won’t happen for it being bar food, and the needs to have it fast streamed lined. An a tad bit negative note, the pie came with spoons already in it which I did not like. Tomorrow we are trying two more restaurant’s shepherds pies, and I’ll come back to edit this review comparing them all.

Excellent! Decent prices for great food, and what an array of choices. There’s something for everyone here. The authentic food is beautiful and the portions are significant. The corned beef and cabbage with their homemade bread was flavorful, filling, and hearty. A real home cooked meal.
The only thing I personally don’t enjoy is the smoke atmosphere, but as long as you don’t stay in the bar area it’s not really a problem. The noise is also significant if you want to have conversations at dinner, but the more private dining area made it much easier. Great service!
