Let me tell you…. they had deviled eggs on the menu and they were great! We dont have that up here on Philly at any bbq spots lol. Along with the biscuits. Everything was great even down to the service. Jessica was very professional and welcoming. If they can put yams on the menu this would be my number 1 bbq spot!

First off I should have known better than ordering a hamburger at a BBQ place but in my defense I thought it would have been a big hand made pattie. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The patties was so tiny that the only thing I tasted was the lettuce and tomato. I will never order it again.
Emma the waitress had about as much of a personality as a picture on the wall. She was more interested in talking to the cooks than she was waiting on us. And she never smiled and never spoke other than when we ordered.
On a good note the the biscuits were amazing as always.

First time here. I absolutely love BBQ. I ordered the baked potato with pork BBQ. The potato was huge and plenty enough for two people. The best part is that it was only like $13 for it. Taste was great and service was wonderful. Oh and those cheese biscuits.. don’t skip out on those cheese biscuits.

The food had solid flavor. Service went from average to exceptional especially after there was an incident with seating. Management and most servers were very kind and helpful. One time experience.

Came here on a just before Christmas Sunday and it doesn’t seem like they were prepared from a staffing or food availability perspective.

Walked in to a 15 minute wait pretty late in the night and they were out of nearly the entire menu including simple things like their signature butter. After waiting 25 minutes, I asked the hostess how much longer it would be and our small party was seated. Overall most of the restaurant seemed understaffed.

Food was exceptional from what we ordered. The bathrooms were a disaster and smelled noticeably bad.

Finally, the televisions need to be remounted (half on the wall?) and an overall evaluation of the restaurant floor seems warranted. Went here on what seems like it was a bad day for the place but such a new and notable restaurant shouldn’t be a let down like it was this night. I watched at least 10 parties walk out after hearing how much was missing from their menu that night.

We both enjoyed pulled pork plates. Very good and reasonably priced. A little more variety of sides would help. Maybe some green beans. Cheese biscuits and butter are excellent. Ashley was very good as our server.

My first experience at Jim ‘N Nick’s was so great that I made a point to stop by again on my way back through the area — and my second visit was even better!

First, the BISCUITS. Oh. My. Goodness. Holy wow — I have a new addiction (and yes, I ordered a dozen to take home ). The brisket is absolute perfection, and the brisket mac n’ cheese bombs with the habanero sauce completely exceeded my expectations.

Now, about the atmosphere and environment: the restaurant is clean, tidy, and well kept. But what truly stood out was the service, camaraderie, and teamwork. As an entrepreneur, I notice these things — and when I do, I always look for the presence of leadership. I happened to be there during a shift change just before the dinner rush and saw the manager, Jeremy, interacting with his team. I was so impressed! It’s rare to see genuine, happy interactions between employees and management, but it was very clear that the culture at Jim ‘N Nick’s in Prattville is one of the best I’ve seen in a restaurant in a very long time.

Highly recommend this location — and don’t skip the biscuits!

My mom and I come and eat here pretty regularly when we’re in town, and the service is always great, but today was really special. Katie was our server and she absolutely went above and beyond, and the general manager, Earl, came and had a wonderful conversation with us. Two truly wonderful people that provided excellent service, going incredibly far to ensure we had a great experience. This has definitely elevated Jim ‘N Nick’s from just a great place to eat to one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to.
