First time trying Boxwood’s pour over and it DID NOT disappoint! My coffee was smooth and light, with hints of pomegranate. Not sour or burnt. It was the perfect roast.

The cashier was super kind too, telling me all his favorite go-to drinks — appreciated his patience very much.

The cafe is airy and bright, with lots of chairs, tables, outlets. Perfect for co-working or simply catching up with friends.

Paid street parking but I was able to find parking easily on a Friday mid-afternoon.

Pleasantly surprised! I don’t come here often but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their drinks. I tried their honey cardamom matcha latte & it was pretty good! Their drink menu is on the smaller size, I wish they had more creative offerings like the one I got. But for those wanting high quality coffee options it’s a great spot. Interior ambiance is lovely, lots of seating and cozy vibes.

The staff is so so nice & you can tell they genuinely enjoy working there. I asked the cashier (friendly lady with glasses & pigtails) several questions about their drinks and flavor profile and I appreciated her honest answers and reccs.

(I docked a star bc they are expensive & I wish they had more creative offerings and non-coffee drinks)

Today we visited the Westfield location and asked to have our coffees for here, which means served in ceramic cups to enjoy on-site.
To my surprise, they gave us the coffees in to-go cups. I politely told the barista that I had requested them for here, and she responded with attitude that they “don’t use the other cups anymore.”
I looked around and clearly saw other people drinking from ceramic cups. So I approached the other barista who was preparing a pour-over in a to-go cup and asked why they weren’t using the ceramic cups. He told me that after 4 PM they stop using them for cleaning purposes.

We were disappointed because the coffee shop closes at 7 PM.
The girl told me they don’t use ceramic cups at all anymore.
The guy told me they stop using them after 4 PM.
And we placed our order at around 3:56 PM.
So i felt confused!!

As coffee drinkers, it’s very important for us to have our coffee in a ceramic cup, not in a to-go cup. It’s part of the experience.
If we choose a beautiful and exclusive coffee shop, we expect the service to match that standard.

Very upset!

Drinks are nice. Specials going on in the fall. Service is good. They make the drinks pretty fast and I didn’t have to wait too long.

On Saturday morning I placed a on line order at the Summit store. Showed up 15 minutes later and order was not ready. I flagged the barista as I saw my ticket lying there she told me she will start my order next. As I waited I saw her help two other customers who walked up. I was in a rush so I said I need a refund the staff did not know how to refund my card! I walked out. It seems the Summit store needs to be organized better and retrained on customer service.

They roast coffee beans themselves and the coffee tastes and aromas are excellent. The interior is very neat. Also, the pandemic quarantine rules were well followed, and some of the guests sitting inside were wearing masks too.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe which is a welcome contrast to the tight squeeze and tinny acoustics of the local Starbucks around the corner. Went to this location for the first time yesterday and ordered a latte for $4.50+ cents. Took awhile which was unusual as no one was there and flavor-wise it was ok, nothing impressive. The space is clean and stylish, love the tile in the walls. This is definitely a welcome addition to the minimal coffee landscape in Westfield. Will be back, but will stick with the regular coffee next time.

SUCH a great downtown Westfield gem. The cardamom vanilla latte is legit to die for and is worth every penny. They have gluten free macarons and sometimes a GF cookie, but otherwise, I haven’t had any of their snacks. East street parking or .50c per hour parking in the back. Thank you for being awesome!

I came in to order a flat white. Over the course of my excursions to Westfield, I have eyed this coffee roaster every single time but was never able to go in. Finally, I had the chance to and it was worth the wait. I love supporting local businesses and local coffee shops are my favorite places to go. The flat white was just as good as Black Swan Espresso in Newark. The customer service was also wonderful. I enjoyed the atmosphere and had I not needed to make my appointment time, I would have stayed and consumed my beverage onsite.

Absolutely love this little coffee shop. The interior is so cute and peaceful. Staff is super nice. Loved just grabbing a drink and chilling in there for a bit. One hundred percent recommend the Honey Cinnamon latte. That was one of the best iced lattes I’ve had in a while. I will for sure be back next time I’m in town. Now onto my COVID commentary as of February 2022. Everyone is still wearing masks and as long as it’s not too packed, the seating is very comfortable and socially distanced.
