Food was amazing, we had the fries pickles and pork rinds for a appetizer and you got a lot. Then doe dinner my husband and I shares the sampler with beef brisket, ribs, sausages, BBQ and wings. So yummy Will definitely try to get back

I really enjoyed the food here. The service was also quick and friendly, we were seated right away.
The crab and spinach dip was very cheesy creamy delicious, as was the sourdough bread bowl it’s served in. Im only disappointed that there wasn’t more of it, not much of the bread is scooped out so the actual dip amount is just what you see at the top.
I had the Super Fly chicken sandwich, and that was very good too. The chicken was nice and crispy and the other toppings were a great combination. I had a little extra bang bang sauce in it and that was perfect.
Others at the table had the Cheaapeake burger (bery good if you like the crab dip), the Hostess Burger (my nephews second favorite burger of all time, and he’s particular), and the Philly Cheesesteak (huge portions).
We would go here again for sure!

Happen to be driving through Virginia and found this place. Atmosphere was great, the butcher paper on the table was a nice touch. Had the sampler platter. Smoked wings were awesome and the highlight. The Coleslaw was also exceptional.

Passed through Farmville otw back to Richmond from Lynchburg. Great atmosphere! #Drawonthetable Our server was on point. Food was really good. I got a Monday special of the catfish tacos…so delicious and I loved the cabbage. Also got the baked beans. The hubs got a BBQ sandwich and his hush puppies and butter were getting eaten up by our little guy, in addition to his catfish bites and Mac ‘n cheese. I’d heard great things about this spot and it did not disappoint. Such a great addition to the Farmville food scene and I bet it’s a fun spot on weekends and evenings!

We chose High Bridge Trail for our First Day Hike (Jan 1 at all state parks) JUST so we could eat at Fishin Pig! We had all picked out what we were going to order and then we saw the table next us get their food, and we all switched it up it was DELICIOUS! I had shrimp tacos and sweet potato fries! Can’t wait for Clarksville to open their location.

Honestly, this place wasn’t as good as I had hoped it would be. I will say, my son really liked his pulled pork sandwich, but the rest was just okay, not great. Our server was really nice, but definitely didn’t pay much attention to detail when we ordered. Our drinks were wrong, which wasn’t really a big deal. I ordered a brisket burger, which she specifically asked “pink or no pink” to which I responded NO pink. It looked delicious, but big, so I cut it in half to eat it and it was so pink it is almost raw looking in places. I do really wish I would have snapped a picture or it, but my hands were pretty messy. I don’t send food back, so I just pulled it off and at the toppings. My aunt ordered fried fish and she got broiled. The food that we did have wasn’t awful, but it was definitely not worth the price. Maybe we should have all just ordered a pulled pork sandwich. Either way, I have had bbq that was much better and I have also had worse. I don’t live locally to this restaurant, so it’s not likely I will be giving it another try. Maybe if I did, it would be better. It was very crowded, so maybe it was just off for us. Side note, the whole being able to draw on the table thing was awesome and the kids loved it! The atmosphere was really good.

Our food was delicious! The pulled pork was tender as well! I tried all of the sauces they ranked from spicy, sweet, vinegar based, my favorite was the spicy Texas. The coleslaw was not sweet but complimented the sandwich. The potato salad is mayonnaise based but delicious! Huge shout out to Jaden as our server! Ask for her! She was so sweet! Great experience!

Attentive and friendly service (Jaden was our server); food was very flavorful , the perfect temp, and presented with care . Overall, our dining experience at the restaurant, far met my expectations. I had read such good reviews on this place and was excited yo try it out. Very disappointed, got the sample platter and the brisket was dry and cold, the sausage way over cooked, the pulled pork dry. The wings were the best thing on the plate. Then was charged $22 for what was supposed to be an old fashioned (was given a choice of bourbon but not told that there was a $10 upcharge) and it definitely was not an old fashioned. Will not be coming back which is a shame because the area doesn’t offer a lot of options with eating establishments.
