I went there yesterday for lunch and the peel and eat shrimp are fantastic. I loved the clam chowder. I am from Wisconsin and this was one place that was told to me that I had to go to in the Jacksonville area. The staff was wonderful, I had a flight to catch so they made my food super fast. I highly recommend them. This is a can’t miss place to eat!

The staff is friendly. The Shrimp were really good. Some dishes are a little pricey for what you get. The bread pudding was delicious and I don’t even like it. It wasn’t busy at all we arrived. The both seating could stand to be repaired. The restaurant overall was clean.

Waterside bar that is well worth a visit!! The restaurant has river access with a boat ramp adjacent.. The pizza is probably one of the better items on the menu.. You can have your meal waterside or do something inside.
The menu is varied and has the usual seaside fare.. and it’s tasty. Service was good and the bar is well stocked… great bartender!
Live music on selected nights is a great plus.

Hidden gem, perfect location on the water. Seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked. I had blackened shrimp and red drum fish. Portions are nice, left full.

Excellent seafood, beer, service and friendly patrons. The Gator Bites and Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl were great. The bartender/service woman was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend visiting here to anyone.

First off the manager was very friendly and helpful and got us an excellent waitress. Marissa never let my Diet Coke run out for more than literally a minute. I had the Palms gumbo and we shared the fried green tomatoes. Perfect. However if I wasn’t starving I would have had a cup of the gumbo instead of a bowl as by the end of the meal I was more than full. It was perfect and steaming hot as that’s the way I like my food. She who must be obeyed had the fish tacos and she loved them. I had a two item platter and it was great. An excellent portion although I would probably have preferred Basa instead of Flounder. But it was just an excellent experience all round. A bit pricey but still worth the price for all we had and the attention we received. The manager was a young man with a beard and pony tail and I am sorry I didn’t ask his name, could have been Bill(!) but he made us comfortable from the get go. We’ll be back for sure and I’m sure you have to get there early to get a seat. But I think the food and the service will be fine.

The waiters were nice and attentive. The food was not good. The fried triple tale was dry and lacked seasoning. Fried shrimps were ok. The french fries were not fresh and overcooked. The deviled crab was very small, but it taste good. Fried oysters didn’t taste fresh and was greasy. Fried okra was stale. Macaroni and cheese was bland. Corn nuggets was good. Fried green tomatoes was good.

Visiting family. They took us out to this place with our grandson. They treated him like a little king even made him his own three course dinner. Including his dessert.
