A fun new experience! We were in the area and decided to explore. I love their Moroccan and Turkish pastries and offerings. My latte (Dubai) was perfection and my daughter loved her hot chocolate. The double espresso my husband ordered was just right too. To top it off, they sell Banyan Coffee here too. This is a new favorite spot! Service was excellent and shop was clean and tidy. Will visit again!

Beautiful café with amazing decor and a cozy vibe. I had a pistachio latte and a butter croissant, both were delicious and the latte came with lovely cute coffee art. The staff was super friendly and even offered us Turkish cookies on the house. They also have books and board games. Highly recommend and would definitely come back next time I’m in siesta key!

Visited to study with a classmate and loveddd the ambience! Barista was so friendly and accommodating.

We got the Turkish coffee and I saw they use really finely grounded beans from a Turkish brand. I didn’t add sugar and thought it was perfect, smooth without adding acidity like espresso shots usually do. I also bought a bag of coffee beans to-go, they use and sell Banyan Coffee Co which is local (Sarasota/Bradenton).

I also got the Dubai (pistachio + chocolate) cake but it was pretty underwhelming and tasted stale. The cake texture was dense and the pistachio part was ehh. I wasn’t even sure if there was kataifi- if there was, it was soggy and didn’t give it the signature “crunch.”

Turkish black tea was good! Next time coming back for Moroccan tea and the cookies/baklava. Maybe would try those before jumping into the cake.

Plenty of parking and seating to chill/hang out/study. Free wifi + yes outlets!

Delicious and delicious! What a great new addition to the Gulf Gate area. The coffee is fantastic and they make all different types of lattes and Turkish food. The first thing we tried was the El jefe which is the chicken sandwich with balsamic glaze on a ciabatta roll. Amazing combination with the Turkish twist. Did not try the pastries but here’s a good view of them.

Truly an awesome cafe. Everything is high quality. Authentic Moroccan and Turkish pastries/cookies/desserts. The coffee is flawless. I highly recommend ordering a whole pot of Moroccan tea to share with some friends with a variety plate of their Moroccan cookies.

First time visiting the new Cafe Divan. Divan is a Turkish restaurant 100 feet away, and they recently opened this new cafe. My wife and I just enjoyed a delicious specialty coffee and some homemade cookies. Of course, we are also taking home some other items for later. A must visit.

The cutest little addition to Sarasota! I’ve never had a pistachio latte before (with dark chocolate!!) and man was I missing out before. Highly recommended for those who love a rich, nutty flavor that’s decadently enhanced by the dark chocolate mixed in. To top it off, I paired my coffee with a chocolate pistachio cake that melted in my mouth but still had that satisfying textured crunch. Will definitely be back to enjoy more from their menu as they also have sandwiches, teas, and other tasty desserts.
