We came for breakfast and ordered two bistec al caballo, one with fries and the other with toast. The breakfast includes a café con leche which you can upgrade with leche evaporada (This is my fav, definitely recommend it) we also ordered a kid’s breakfast which had a great potion and the pancake’s were shaped like Mikey… the baby loved it. Our server Indayris was very helpful and recommended great items, thanks for your great service! We will be back

Came for lunch. Not fancy but just really nice. Quiet. Very local hispanic crowd. Based on the amount of guests and take outs this seems to be a famous local spot. Food was fantastic.

Nice Cuban restaurant. We like coming here. Haven’t been here in a few years. Food is good. Place is clean. Bathrooms are clean as well. Prices are very competitive. Feels very safe. Staff is friendly. Nice decor. Parking lot is a bit crowded. Just have to be patient but you’ll find a parking space eventually.

My husband and me went yesterday and food was horrible, We ordered churrasco the big one, I don’t know how many oz, the taste was horrible and it was so small and skinny, una tirita, the beans was only water, conclusion, it happy with the food, we always go every week, and yesterday was our last time. And we waited like 20 minutes to be served, I think people know how the food is, because the restaurant was empty.

Went to this place for a late lunch didn’t really know what to expect. We got seated right away and our server got there just as fast. I ordered a chicken Cesar salad wrap and my spouse ordered a ham croqueta combo which came with a tamal and plantain chips. The combo was really good…but when my wrap came I was totally surprised. It was huge and full of chicken! It also came with plantain chips. It was an awesome portion I only ate one half because it was that big! It was really delicious. When you go try to sit at “Alba la Colombiana de la mañana” station she’s very nice and great at customer service. She also makes a killer cuban coffee!, I’m going again to try the dinner menu. So give it a try when you visit miami lakes.
