Forgot to post came around christmas time between lunch and dinner. The place wasnt very busy but eventually picked up. We sat at the bar and had a great bartender who discussed some of the best dishes and cocktails. You have the best hurricane we have ever had and we will probably only drink your from now on. Thr food was hot and delicious and the beneights we great as well. We were glad we tried you out…finally.

Very disappointing. I just tried their gumbo for the first time and it was INCREDIBLY watery. Felt like I was eating brown seasoned water with some cheap rice and small shrimp thrown in. Not the worst thing I’ve ever tasted, but definitely not the quality I expected for a $20 dish. $30 because it was delivery… I could get something better from the frozen section of a grocery store. The picture on their website shows a rich vibrant gumbo, and I was served a small bowl of seasoned brown water with oil floating at the top. I am sad now.

Giving an extra star simply because I did not experience the restaurant itself, just one bad bowl of gumbo.

Had dinner on Christmas Eve and as a native New Orleanian I expected to not be impressed but I was! Everything we had was very good especially the beignets!

We LOVE Tibby’s! Every time we visit Florida we make sure to visit this restaurant. Some of our favorites are the BBQ Shrimp, Debris Spring Rolls, Boudin Rolls, Red Beans and Rice, Po Boy’s and the Pasta Monica. Their Beignets are the perfect dessert to end your meal. There are a couple of locations and they have all been consistently great. Don’t forget to try the Brandy Milk Punch and enjoy the beautiful decor along with the excellent service. We have been eating at Tibby’s for over a decade and have never been disappointed. 5 STARS.

From the moment you walk in, you are immersed in the festive atmosphere that New Orleans is known for. From giant Mardi Gras beads to a colorful art and jester heads, this restaurant offers great food and atmosphere.

We were seated promptly, great service when our server offered to half our chicken sandwich with lemon sauce(very good), promptly brought out our side that was originally incorrectly brought out. The restaurant is rated top 5 for their onion rings. I would have to agree as an onion ring frequent eater. They have thick cuts of onion rings with crispy breading that isn’t just salted, but spiced with Italian seasoning and buttermilk in the breading. The honey-crystal shrimp was delicious but be warned that the hard shell tails are under the batter so don’t put the whole shrimp in your mouth before removing the tail. I e had the debris spring roll which came with a rich gravy. I didn’t like the spring roll myself because of the heaviness of the meat inside but it was a unique dish. They also have an outdoor covered patio in front of the restaurant.

We left the movie theater two stores down and walked in around 9p to get a drink and just hang out. There were a small group sitting near the front, two guys hanging out near the bar and two others on the table near the bar. My friends ordere their drinks and I went with the brandy milk punch which has brandy, Irish cream, vanilla and nutmeg and cream all tossed together ($11). The drink was quite light on the liquor and was more milk than anything else but it was just a little something to sip on while we chatted about the movie and caught up on life. We left as just as the bar was closing up, last rounds was called and they were getting ready to kick us all out.

Cannot say enough good things about this place! Rita’s chicken is one of the best lemony chicken dishes I’ve ever had, and I typically order Picattas anywhere that has them. Literally everything we ordered was amazing, the staff was super welcoming, and the ambiance feels so genuine & true to New Orleans. I highly recommend the Rita’s chicken and dirty rice, but the fried green tomatoes were also some of the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back, even though they’re almost an hour and half from me! 1000% worth the trip.

Great energy. Great service. Great vibes.

The food… 3 out of 5. I ordered the shriml and grits with a topping of crayfish. The shrimp came out cooked perfectly. The cheee.frits were very salty. The crayfish was oddly dry but a fantastic add to the dish in my opinion.

The star though was the red wine gravy sauce that was in the dish. Combined together a fantastic blend of flavors.

Downside was the pools of oil. Tasty but very salty.

Definitely worth a trip with friends for a good time.
