We had a really enjoyable experience overall. The food was excellent, and the service was just as good. From the moment we arrived, everything felt smooth and well-organized. One of the first things we appreciated was the ample parking available, which made getting in and out very easy and stress-free. The location itself is convenient and easy to find, adding to the positive experience.
The service was fast and efficient, with no waiting time to be seated or served. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. It’s always a pleasure to dine somewhere that values both quality service and the customer’s time.
As for the food, it definitely stood out. We especially loved the crab cake dip, which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. It had a great balance of seasoning and texture, making it a standout appetizer that we would absolutely order again. The beef nachos were another highlight—generously portioned, loaded with tender beef, and topped with just the right amount of cheese and toppings. Every bite was satisfying and full of flavor.
Overall, this place delivers on all fronts: great food, excellent service, convenient parking, and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s definitely a spot we would recommend.

We speed here after my son’s ice hockey game. Our waiter was good. He gave us time to review the menu which had lots of different options. The food was delivered to our table pretty quickly. My son got the chicken finger appetizer, which was huge for an appetizer. There were at least 3-4 huge chicken tenders which tasted very good, according to my son. My husband got some sort of cheese burger which he also said was delicious. I had the fish tacos, which were good, but could have used more sauce. They were a little dry, but tasted delicious. The onion rings were amazing! Good crunch & I loved the dipping sauce. We day in the room with the gold rhino head on the wall, which was a good conversation starter. We week definitely slip here again when we are back in the area!!!! Prices we’re also fair.

Soooooo disappointed in our most recent visit. We’ve been coming to Rockwell’s for years. We had no kids so decided to drop in quick for a drink and food. We sat right away at the empty bar. And sat. And sat. And watch 3 staff members mess with the TV and another fill the frig. The one other patron at the bar came over to wish us luck on getting service. He said the same thing just happened to him. We talked about going back to the hostess and ask for a table so we could get service but we really wanted to sit at the bar. Finally a staff member came over to us. Not very friendly I might add and took our drink orders. Drinks were good so we appreciated that. Then half hearted asked if we wanted to order. We ordered the crab dip and that quick she took our menus. So I guess we’re only getting apps! Lol
The crab dip was good but I’m not sure if was all real crab. We eat a lot of seafood and there seemed to have been some krab (see the red in pictures) in there. Not cool, especially for the price.
We were a one drink and done. When you get a night away you really want a better experience than this.
We’ve had enough great experiences here in the past so we will be back. But but for a while.

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The steak and crab cake was to die for! The rhino fries were also delicious. 100% recommend going here if you have the opportunity.

HUGE restaurant with ample seating. I had a blueberry cream ale that came with blueberries floating in the effervescence of the beer it was stunning. I ordered a seasonal special of warm brussel salad. It came with a bacon vinaigrette, blackened chicken, feta, cranberries, and apples. It was delightful! I was worried a salad wouldn’t be enough (spoiler: it was a big, filling portion) so I ordered the roasted tomato soup. Also a very filling portion. I’m glad I found this place.

I thought the bratwurst on a pretzel roll was average, but I really enjoyed the sauerkraut. The chicken fajitas lacked flavor but they were juicy and plentiful. Service was really attentive and it’s a nice atmosphere, and food was good but not exceptional by any means. I’d come back if in the area again.

Took a chance on a Monday and we weren’t disappointed. The weather was perfect for outdoor dining and the space was so welcoming and we could tell so much thought was put into making it a special area. The only disappointment was ordering 3 different beers to find out they were out…and the local drafts were over $7, which I don’t understand. We had the schnitzel, an October special. It was super dry and hard to swallow. A bit overdone. Perhaps if it was served with kraut, that would have helped.

Nice comfortable environment, with lots of big windows making it feel even more comfortable ! Well maintained and appointed with lots exsposed wood framing that added to the visual pleasure ! A Humongous waist high round stone open gas fireplace in the center of the room with fake wood and nice visual flames was wonderful, and added to the decor ! The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful, with speedy accurate service ! Food was delicious and everyone ate everything, except for the appetizers that were equally as good but much larger than expected, making it the only thing and only reason not also consumed !

Everything was DELICIOUS!
The presentation of the food was beautifully done. They go all out by serving you with heavyweight silverware, beautiful dishes to compliment your meal, and nice hefty disposable napkins.
The serving sizes are huge, so there is more to take home to eat later on, which is something I enjoy.
TJ Rockwells has been on the outskirts of Elizabethtown for many years. I have seen it grow more and more throughout the years.
The one area that is incredibly appealing with such a cozy atmosphere is located outside of the main restaurant. When you go through the backdoors, you feel like you are entering a whole new world! The area is all laid out with amazing decks of all different levels and areas with a complete tropical feel and appearance. There is even an area where your children can go and play, while you are still enjoying your meal.
This is the area that I wanted to be at for our anniversary celebration. However, it was raining all day, so it was not able to be used. I am enclosing many pictures of the area so you can see for yourself how amazing it is. They have quaint lighting throughout, making it feel romantic as well.
Come and check out this amazing restaurant for a different feel from most other ordinary kinds of restaurants! You’ll be glad you did!

Was there on a random Wednesday night. HUGE place. Gorgeous patio. Food was good. Rhino fries alone were super filling – 2 of us could easily have just split that and gotten drinks and not needed the mains. Staff were very nice but since we were outside and it wasn’t super busy, we didn’t see them very often. I’d definitely go again though.
