1st time here. The service and meal were 5 stars. I really appreciated the ambience and the way the restaurant was layed out. I would suggest the tortillas chips and Tamales Chilangro. They were sooooo delicious. This little restaurant is a gem in this small mountain town of Ellijay.

I love everything about this resturant. The food is amazing but can be a tad bit expensive on first impressions. If you think of the amount you are getting it evens out to be more cost effecient. A small cheese dip is like 8 bucks but its larger then a Chipotle large cheese dip for just about the same price, and most entrees are able to feed me (i can eat a full rack of ribs in one sitting)feeds me 3 to 4 times.The people here are amazing people the only reason the service gets 4 stars is language barrier. To be expected most of the employees are not the best at English so sometimes small errors or miscommunication happens which is to be expected. They do try their best to over come the barrier unlike some restaurants. The atmosphere is always great they have indoor and outdoor seating, dog friendly, and they decorate to the max for holidays. Monday they have the mariachi band going around the building and that band has some of the most amazing people. I am friends with a very special needs child and he loves music. When ever he is at the resturant the band always includes them in their jams and its the most heartwarming thing to see! This resturant is the most amazing Mexican resturant in ellijay!

Was recommended locally and it didn’t disappoint. Really solid food and service, cool atmosphere as well. Tons of margarita options and a huge menu. Both dishes were delicious and the steak was especially good, really tender. Will return for sure when in the area.

Our entrees were amazing. We had the Catrina enchiladas and carne asada which were both perfectly prepared. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. Our server was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend that you give this place a try.

Really cool looking place but terrible service. I ordered a large watermelon margarita and it took over 20 minutes to get….they didn’t even bring a water while I waited. When I got it….it was a small/regular mango margarita. I’m allergic to mango so I had to send it back. They took an extra 5+ minutes and brought THE SAME CUP AND DRINK BACK!!!! I kept it and had my friend drink it instead. The pineapple fajitas came in a half pineapple and had MOLD on it! It was over $100 for 3 people with ONE mixed drink. Won’t be back unfortunately

My wife and I stopped in town for a quick bite in the mountains. Hands down THE BEST TACOS EVER! My wife ordered the birria tacos and I ordered the baja fish tacos and everything from the tortillas themselves were out of this world, also the portions to the meat, fresh veggies, great sauces, our sangria margaritas were excellent! Our server Deysi was so polite and timely! 10 out of 10!!!

Our visit here was nothing above AWFUL. It took over 25 min for anyone to even great our table to get drinks and bring chips /salsa. That was afrer someone went to the hostess area to see where our waiter was. Then we got some drinks, took another 10 minutes to get chips and salsa. Didn’t even ask us about appetizers when taking our drink order. Then we had to flag them down just to order. We were there an hour and 45 minutes before we got our food. No one came back after they brought it out. They forgot several sides and the tortillas to go with the fajitas. Most of our food was luke warm. At this point, most of us didn’t even want to eat anymore because we filled up on chips and salsa since we were so hungry. Mind you, we also got here at 5:40. There were 6 servers on the floor. It’s not a big restaurant. No one apologized for the slow/poor service. Drinks never got refilled unless we went to the bar to ask, and then the lady behind the bar proceeded to say she didn’t speak English. Seriously!?! Overall, we do NOT RECOMMEND this mexican restaurant. Save yourself and your time and go somewhere else in town. One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.
