Great service place looks great love the military and first responders devote as a veteran myself.it was quick and zero wait. Very friendly staff.
Here is what I had 3 meats brisket pulled pork and regular sausage and a side of bake beans. It was fair priced for what you got with a drink it was under 30.
I asked for moist brisket happy that was an option. This does look presliced but I sear I saw them sliced. Flavor was good little salty but it helped cause it was dry. Bark was tough. But good for jerky, it has a ok flavor. Tender all the sauce choices helped this. Over all nothing to write home about but for a chain it was ok.
Next had the pulled pork. Very good I like the flavor plenty moist I think this is my pick and for a beef guy surprised. Again great with sauce. Little bark pieces really help. Not to greasy. Not much smoke but good.
Sausage is fine decent flavor good bite, not a fan of the sliced long ways good pepper and flavor chech style sausage works.
Baked beans great these would hold up anywhere little sweet little spicy good flavor.
Sauces are the highlight not that all my favorites but fun to try them all. We will
Agree to disagree on the Texas sauce it’s fine but needs more pepper. My favorite was for sure the smoky mountain great smoke. The BayB que also good. Not a fan of the KC one but that’s not y’all just not a fan.
Overall would I eat again yes when traveling I would. So from a Texan you do good. Sorry for being a snob when it comes to BBq. Only complaint was the edge of the brisket very dryer out for moist brisket.
The 6 sauces to chose from – all amazing. I couldn’t pick a favourite loved loved loved them all!
While it doesn’t compete with Texas craft barbecue, it beats places like Dickey’s by miles. The brisket was done surprisingly well. It says “Texas inspired” and you can tell they have done their homework when you even see lean and moist listed on the menu. It had good flavor and good bark to it. Jalapeño and cheese sausage was good. Fries were great.
Pulled pork was better than I’ve had at a lot of other places.
They even have good sweet tea! It’s hard to find places up here that even offer sweet tea.
Everyone was courteous and friendly. I would happily return next time I’m in the area. I love seeing all the support for military and LEO. Even spotted the patch for my hometown PD.
If you want an idea of what good Texas barbecue is like, go to Mission. If you’re from Texas and missing the taste of home, go to Mission.
I can’t say how many times I’ve had their food catered, but you better get you plate fast before it’s all gone. Yesterday was my first online order. I showed up an 10 minutes early and got someone else order on an accident (same first name), this was my fault. The issue was remedied with military precision. I say all this to say, online orders seem to be boxed upon arrival and not left to get cold and they’re efficient and effective with their service.
