This is about food/road particles I had delivered. First of all, the food I did manage to eat was awful. Not fresh, bread was stale, oily, and poorly seasoned. Second of all I ordered gluten-free pita right off the menu. I received a regular piece of loaf bread (who knows if it was gluten free), two pieces, sliced in have like they thought I would be making an expensive PBJ. Not pita bread at all. The “regular” pita I received was dry, and tossed into a paper bag. After spending over a hundred dollars on food, I would have hoped for at least some tin foil. But I doubt this was baked there.

Second, and much more importantly, I bit into the falafel, the very first bite I took from this delivery, and there was a big chunk of gravel. Yes, I heard it stop my teeth, pulled it out, and it looked just like road. Did someone drop the falafel in the parking lot and decided to get rid of it on DoorDash order? I have no idea. I just know that the spread I had ordered for my party was not something I could serve, so I had to scramble to put something else together.

This is such a shame because the food used to be better, fresh, and thoughtful. I don’t know what happened, but I will never order from them again.

We live on the peninsula and have been several times. We’ll worth the trip! Great food, friendly staff and still our favorite place to go for Turkist food.

The restaurant is colorful, warm, and spacious. The service is attentive, quick, and helpful. Our Server was so welcoming and happy to recommend her favorites from any section. All of our needs were met and then some. She really added to the lovely experience.

The kitchen is incredibly efficient. The food came out at a great pace and it tasted just as delicious as it looked. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful as well.

I couldn’t recommend Turko Cafe enough. They have a great variety of dishes and flavors. You can bring your meat lovers, vegetarians, and vegan friends with confidence that everyone can find a dish they’ll enjoy.

I haven’t had a chance to truly explore Turkish cuisine and wow, I’ve been missing out. What a great introduction to a food full of flavors.

Also, their baklava is the best I’ve ever had.

I can wait to come back to try more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle–I ate there for the first time a few months ago and haven’t stopped thinking about the food and wanting to go back! Last night I went for dinner and it was again exceptional. We got the same order– lamb pide and Grandfather Beyti–and every bite was perfection. Genuinely some of the best food I’ve ever eaten, in Seattle or other food scenes. The server was also so nice, kind, responsive and helpful and brought such lovely energy to our evening. Highly recommend for any occasion!! 10/10!

I thought I would never remember the deliciousness of Turkish food, but today I went back to the alleys of Istanbul, Fatih and Uskudar, and the service was excellent. The waitress Zalina was very cheerful and helpful. I highly recommend you go to their restaurant.

The food was too pricy with regular quality. The lighting was sharp on our eyes. The portion was too small compared to other Turkish restaurants I’ve tried before.

Thank you so much for a delicious meal! Amelia was our server and she was awesome. I had basil hummus and falafel plate, falafel is coated beautifully so crisp on the outside and flavorful on the inside. The basil hummus was superb, I would go back to this restaurant just for this dish. So many vegan options! Super super vegan friendly ♡ thank you!

Such a magical environment!
If you’ve never tried Turkish food before, this is the perfect place to start. Everything is fresh and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Suleyman the Second dish—it was incredible, especially the Adana kebab paired with a refreshing Ayran drink. I also had the Kunefe dessert with Turkish tea, and it was the perfect sweet finish. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!
Also, they have nice coffee sets

Tried this Turkish restaurant because of its convenient location and the variety on its menu. We ordered a lot of food, so here’s my detailed review of some of the items we tried.

The appetizer platter is a must it comes with warm pita bread. We ordered muammara, baba ghanoush, cacık, dolma, and hummus. All were delicious, but I especially liked the hint of cinnamon in the dolma.

Their pide was tasty, though the “everything pide” was a bit too heavy with multiple kinds of meat. I’d recommend trying some of the other pide options, as the cheese-to-bread ratio was great. The mantı (Turkish dumplings) had a fantastic sauce, but the dough-to-filling ratio wasn’t ideal. Still, I recommend trying it for a different take on dumplings.

The beyti and Adana kebab were excellent. I highly recommend the beyti! The Adana kebab was a bit thick and felt more like köfte than kebab, but the side salad was perfectly done and absolutely delicious. I would have preferred a different rice variety since basmati isn’t commonly used in Turkish cuisine, but it was still tasty.

Last but not least, the künefe (listed as “Bird’s Nest”) exceeded my expectations. It was clearly handmade, not frozen, and I highly recommend it! However, while the menu listed it as $8, we were charged $12, so keep that in mind. That said, it was well worth more than $8.

Overall, the service was great, the food was delicious, and this place offers a wonderful taste of Turkey from miles away!

Location is great and food is generally tasty and fresh. Muhammara was great, but the chicken Beyti was way too salty despite it being well seasoned. The kunafa wasn’t that great, nothing I would order again.
