The Shore: Waterfront Restaurant is such a gorgeous spot to dine with friends. We grabbed a table by the windows (highly recommend at sunset) and soaked up the lake views while sharing plates and catching up. The seafood was fresh, the cocktails were bright and balanced, and everything came out beautifully presented. Service was friendly and unhurried—perfect pace for a relaxed evening. Between the breezy patio vibe and the scenery, it felt like a mini getaway. We’ll be back for another round of views and oysters soon!

Looking for a restaurant with a scenic view, we were recommended this place by a Google search and it truly delivered. The dining room is huge and the view was nice, although it was raining, the view was still romantic with raindrops on the window.
The service was excellent, and our server Sara was friendly and helpful. We ordered several appetizers and a couple of mains. As we waited for our appetizers, I noticed other tables received dinner rolls, but we didn’t. We didn’t bother to ask for it since we had so much food coming.
Now for the food:
Appetizers:
* Crab Cake: (8/10) This was well made, crispy on the outside, and soft, flaky, and well-seasoned on the inside. The sauces complimented it well and the presentation was well done.
* Korean Fried Chicken: (9/10) Well made and bite-sized. The chicken pieces were evenly coated, and the sweet and spicy was perfectly balanced.
* Fresh Mussels: (6/10) I would have plated it differently. The cream sauce needed more seasoning and slightly more wine. It was good, but it can be better.
Main Courses:
* Fish and Chips: (9/10) The fish was perfectly cooked with a golden, crispy coating and soft fish inside. The chips (fries) were okay.
* The Shore Burger: (7/10) The brioche bun was soft and the burger was well-seasoned. The burger was good, but as a fan of old-fashioned burger patties, I was okay with it.
Overall, the service was great, and the bathrooms were clean, although they needed stocking up on paper towels. My dining partners and I had a good experience and we would definitely return.

This is my favorite restaurant in town! I come often and every time the food gets better.
The menu is incredible, the atmosphere is amazing, and the staff is too notch.
We just had my wife’s 40th birthday brunch and they knocked it out of the park. They were able to handle 15 people with no issues at all. Everyone loved the menu, and they definitely gained some return customers.
I’m surprised the place isn’t always packed. It almost feels like a secret spot. The view alone is worth the stop. Highly recommend.

Great location on the lake next to the marina. If you decide to visit, the patio is definitely the way to go. Unfortunately the food is just average, especially for the price. I strongly advise against trying the chicken supreme – it was just a dry mushy chicken breast. Perhaps the steak would have been better, but I was not in the mood for red meat.
You definitely pay for the views here and if this is what you’re after, it is fine to give it a shot.

We had dinner our with friends recently and they chose this spot. I haven’t been before since it changed business name, so I’m not sure if it’s new owners/management.
Casual feel, nice view, good variety of menu options. I chose the chicken and I also captured photos of 2 others at my table as the presentation was lovely. Others at my table had steak, salmon, and short ribs (I didn’t get a photo of short ribs).
The chicken was moist and tasty, I enjoyed the puree veg and small pieces of roasted squash, all was yummy!
Thanks for a great experience, we enjoyed ourselves.

Unfortunately they let us down. We arrived on our scheduled time. Advised the waiter about our plans (we had to leave after 2 hours to go to a play). We ordered our mains within 15 minutes of sitting down. The restaurant was not busy at the time. After 90 minutes I approached the waiter and the manager inquiring about our food. They then rushed to get our food ready. It was clear in the preparation that it was rushed out. We had 15 minutes to eat our food, pay our bill and depart. Our kids had to eat their food in takeout containers in the car. Not ideal for steak. They offered us a small discount but still made us pay a mandatory 20% gratuity because it’s their “policy”. We saw many people who were seated after us get all of their food before us. I understand that people make mistakes, but they did not take ownership of it or handle their mistake appropriately. On a positive note, the view is great and the food was acceptable. If you’re going with a large group, keep tabs on the timing. They’ve lost my trust.

For starters, I would not suggest this restaurant if you have dietary concerns and require substitutions. Most of the things on the menu had either dairy or gluten, which are two things that I cannot partake in my husband, and I wanted to order the muscles which did come in a cream sauce I asked the server if there were any substitutions that could be made. She spoke with the chef and they said they could substitute the cream for butter. I had to chuckle as butter is still dairy.
They did eventually catch my drift And substitute butter for olive oil. The muscles were pretty tasty but over salted.
We also ordered two spicy margaritas and they were not very good. You could tell it was a cocktail mix. It didn’t seem fresh.
For Maine, I had the green goddess salad, consider considering the dressing had dairy in it. I had to substitute for oil and vinegar. They did obliged to that substitution so I thank them. It just seemed like asking for any sort of substitution was a bit of a request.
The salad was very mediocre. Nothing I couldn’t have made on my own at home.
My husband had the cod tacos with salad on the side. The tacos were OK, but not overly flavorful. The salad on the side was very boring.
It was a beautiful view however I feel like the menu still needs a lot of work.

Our server, Cassidy, was friendly, attentive, and helpful with the menu. Our food was served fresh and hot. The Thursday date night menu was a surprise bonus for the 4 of us. With inclement weather, we had to forego our patio reservation but we’re offered excellent window seating inside with a nice lake view.
The entire experience was better than our expectations. Great value.

One of the best places I have eaten. Burger was incredible, so juicy, hot and flavourful. Perfect amount of toppings placed beautifully. Bun was nice and crispy on the outside. Fried were also so crispy and tasty. Service was so friendly and welcoming and the view speaks for itself. Definitely eat here! Lisa was our server and we had the best time
