The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, checking on us several times throughout the evening. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and you could genuinely feel that they wanted you to have a great experience. The next day we returned for cheesecake; all varieties were delicious, and once more the portions were far too generous to finish.
I can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys excellent food, generous portions, a great atmosphere, and friendly service. I am a big fan now.
Food and food service were not good. Bread took a really really long time. Sodas were watered down. Our steak temps were opposite of what we ordered. My daughters salmon was dry and lacked the teriyaki sauce. The server never came to check on us so we didnt get the opportunity to address it with him. He dropped off more sodas and ran off. It wasnt even that busy. It was so bad that after waiting for the server, I had my kids go order the cheesecake to-go at the counter while I waited for the check – they got back with the cheesecakes before he even came. All four of us walked out disappointed and agreed that was the worst dining experience we have had.
A manager really should be walking the dining room checking on the tables. We would have addressed it with them too if given the opportunity.

Restaurant was not too busy but had to wait and there were 4 groups ahead of us waiting as well. We were ok with that.
We were seated within that time frame. Our waitress was very attentive. Took our beverage order and explained it was coming from the bar and would be a minute or two and she would bring us water.
Brought us their basket of bread and asked for our order. We placed our order because as regulars we knew what we wanted. Our drinks arrived and we waited. After waiting what we figured was about 20-25 minutes the manager came out, said they were out of turkey (I ordered the club) and could offer the chicken club with avocado. I didn’t want that or I would have ordered it. I asked for the menu to go over it.
Our waitress returns right away to see if I decide yet and informed me my husband’s dinner was ready and she recommended a salad because it was quick as my husband’s meal was cooked and ready. WOW
Said I need a minute. Not 3 minutes later came to the table again to see if I had decided. My husband asked if they were going to remake his dinner because he didn’t want it to sit there while they made my dinner which I still hadn’t decided what I wanted. This was not my fault!!
Well, from that moment on we felt they were not impressed with us and our service became less than what would be expected from The Cheesecake Factory. Placed my order and it came quickly. From then on we were ignored and when we decided we just wanted to leave asked for the bill, our containers were
dropped off, no communication and we left. We had even said earlier to our server that we realized this wasn’t her fault.
Rewind…
When we walked in we got the impression everyone was unhappy when we approached the hostess station. Both my husband and I overheard the other guests remarking how there were many empty tables and why were they waiting 10 minutes like they were informed. We weren’t really bothered because there is so much illness going around and the service industry is hard. Could be lack of staff, illness and so many other reasons.
The bill came and was dropped on our table as our server walked past us and looked after other patrons. Never saw the manager again, no apologies, no further communication and no adjustments to our bill.
We were seated right away, however after being seated, no server came over to us for at least 20 minutes. So I got up and had to go to the main bar to get my wife and my daughter beverages.
Finally, a server came over and it didn’t appear that he was assigned to our table, but just took our order because nobody else was coming over.
Then the server, who was nice enough and everything, did not come back to our table frequently. I had to get up again and go to the main bar and order drinks for us. The restaurant was not overcrowded, and we were surprised by this. We watched many people around us that were seated after us receive their food.
The food was good, just not the quality and portion sizes that it used to be.
My daughter wanted to take cheesecake back to our hotel room, the piece that she ordered was a carrot cake cheesecake, and it was dried out and not very good.
Very disappointed, we will not go back.
Restaurants wonder why they are struggling, reduce portion sizes, raised prices, and terrible service.
Thankfully, Shaylynn truly saved the day. She was kind, patient, and incredibly accommodating. We had a large party with kids and fully understood there would be a wait, but Shaylynn went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She listened, helped us get settled, and even made sure our kids were comfortable while we waited. Her warmth and professionalism completely turned our experience around.
The food was fresh, delicious, and absolutely worth it. We’re so happy we stuck it out. Aside from that one rough interaction, everything else was wonderful, and Shaylynn deserves major praise for the outstanding service she provided.
