We went here as part of a Chapala/Ajijic tour and the food was great. Serving staff are also very nice and hard working. I highly recommend it if you are looking for something slightly outside of Ajijic’s main area. The place has a very nice view overlooking the lake and there is also a live band.

Started with a guacamole that had at least 4 lemons squeezed onto it, not good! Then the queso fundido was not even warm! Almost rock hard with cold shrimp on top. Then the main course came. What a weird plating! A bunch of fruit with a so so piece of steak. My wife ordered medium rare and it was still mooing. Not good. The atmosphere was nice. The view outstanding. The drinks good. Not the food. If you pay by credit card, they walk you all the way to the back, about a city block to pay. Will not be coming back.

Our tour guide brought us to this restaurant. Fast service and food is good. I ordered quesadillas as appetizers and it was very good. I also ordered La carne asada medium done. Service was great and it had a good lake view.

I came here with a tour group and was hopeful. While their seafood molcajete was delicious, my mojarra dorada was under seasoned and still raw inside.

This is a great place to hang out. The scenery is beautiful the environment relaxed and the food is fantastic. Make sure to order the queso fundido with chorizo. That cheese was exceptional.
