Rico was very accommodating and attentive throughout our visit. He made sure we had everything we needed and checked in at the right times without being overbearing. His service definitely added to the overall positive experience.
The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, making it a good spot to relax and enjoy a meal. I’d gladly come back again.
If we ever return to SM—this will be our first stop! TY
Our server Rico made the experience even better. He recommended the French bread to go with my pasta and it was the PERFECT addition — crispy, warm, and honestly a must-order.
From the food to the service to the overall vibe, this place completely exceeded expectations. What started as a quick stop turned into one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. If you’re anywhere near Santa Monica, go here.
We usually don’t make the drive out that far, but I’m glad we did. It’s a cute little restaurant on a lively street that seems like it could really come alive at night. Even during the day, there were plenty of families walking around, and I’d definitely come back just to explore the area more.
Inside, the restaurant has an interesting vibe — I was told it turns into a club at night, and I can definitely see the potential. Music was playing at a good volume, adding to the atmosphere.
I had the Mambo Splash drink, which was the perfect amount of sweetness for me and the favorite out of the whole table.
For food, I ordered the spaghetti carbonara with added shrimp, and also tried the Himachi sashimi as a second plate — both were good but the sashimi was especially delicious ! Id for sure order the that again!
The only downside was the service. While friendly, it was extremely slow. From ordering drinks, to getting our food, to finally receiving our check, we spent close to 3.5 hours at the table. For the food, I would definitely come back, but I’d hope for quicker service visit next time. It felt like it dragged in between everything! Took away from my experience.
